Hi, I'm Colette, and I adore Harry Potter, Phantom, and Les Mis. I'm mainly into abused Harry stories. Rowling drops so many hints to the nature of Harry's past in her quick summary of it- living in a cupboard under the stairs, "Harry Hunting", verbal abuse, bars on the window in his 2nd year- and it seems far more likely to me that these are just signs of a deeper, hidden abuse rather than just the sum of it, and that for the sake of the series being primarily a children's series Rowling was unable to go into further detail. Or maybe not, who knows. Besides that, I like dark!harry, independent!harry, slytherin!harry, manipulative!dumbledore, etc. Though really, I'll go for almost anything that's well-written.

On a lighter note, Les Mis is back on Broadway!!! Anyone who can get me a round way ticket to New York is my hero.
