I'd love to see what "Legend of Korra" would be like in this universe

I was in love with this fic the whole time I read it! I was actually getting stressed towards the end because I would’ve been devastated if it was incomplete. I was actually really surprised when I finished and saw all the negative reviews. I thought Aang’s personality was really well explained by Gyatso’s reincarnation and Zuko’s by his conflict between Air nomad teachings and his inner anger. Regardless, I wish I could read a whole universe of this fic and I hope that the fact that a reader still enjoys your work in 2020 means something to you!

You’re a good writer, I have to give you that. Everything is very articulate. Still, I’m afraid that I couldn’t get past the first chapter. Aang in particular was very in character, I feel like. Which it’s why this whole premise is such a problem. If he grew up in a palace, servants would be answering to his every whim. Throughout the series, I felt like Aang was, for lack of better terms, lazy. Servants is something he would take full advantage of. Also, I can’t imagine anyone coming out of living under a man like Ozai with a smile on their face. Much less Aang, who was sometimes portrayed as almost cowardly throughout the serious. He’s fragile. Here, there’s no evidence he was ever a prince. I feel like you just swapped the characters out and put an angry Zuko as the avatar, after being subjected to the cruelty of Ozai and Azula, and Aang as a prince, after he had grown up as a monk. This is exactly what you did. Now, I didn’t expect Aang to come out as angry and ashamed as Zuko did, but he certainly wouldn’t come out like the Aang from the series. What’s more, the way he turned on his Nation just like that? Things are not that simple, which was why Zuko had such a hard time. He realized that his nation was not bettering the world at all after living as a refugee for the entirety of a season. He saw what was happening in the world. Aang had none of that. Not at this point of the story, which is why I have to bid my goodbyes.

Another Avatar Zuko of. Seems promising! Aside from unnatural progression of Fire Nation Royal family dynamic, that is. It seemed Zuko was the prince all the way till his banishment or Agni Kai and only after that he is replaced by Aang, so nothing changed. I think it would make more sense if some kind of change was there, like Ozai not banishing Aang. Unless Aang got Zuko's "bad talent". Even so.. Anyway I might be jumping to conclusions, considering that this is the first chapter of this fic so I will suspend my disbelief for an Avatar Zuko fic.

Well this story was a disappontment. Aang does not know how to balance work and fun. He's lazy and avoids responsibility constantly.

This is a really interesting premise, but I feel like having aang in the group weighs the dynamic too heavily in his favor. He seems to be undermining zuko at every turn and hes portrayed as always being in the right. I feel like I might have stayed engaged more of zuko had left army like he wanted to and the chase aspect of the first season was preserved.

Holy shit it was the second one.

So before I read this, I'm gonna guess the set out:

- Aang has Zuko's moodiness and is bald
Zuko is fun-loving (PFFF HAHAHA! Imagine him riding on an airball, spinning around before smacking face first into some totem like the scene in the opening.)

- Aang is still Aang but he's a firebender
Zuko's still Zuko but he's the Avatar.

I have seen so much Zutara trash bullshit that made no fucking sense. finally found this gem, oh thy writer, I want to merge with you, hell, if you're a dude, I will become gay lol

You probably won't see this review anymore, but I just want to tell you that I had to stop reading and make myself some tea, breath for a few minutes just to calm down because.. agfstevysiabsyievdstajwhuwj! What the hell is this beauty! You are absolutely positively making me love Aang more than I thought possible... as a fire nation prince no less! The details! The realistic approach! How he's become much more beautiful than he was as the avatar! I cant handle ittttt! I just... need to breath. Honestly. Must calm down enough to read it. Oh my god. gaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!

Don't get why every character in every fanfic knows about Zuko's (in this case Aang's) story already, when canon clearly states that not even Zuko's men knew about it. This was a pretty important detail to the plot, and it's odd that it's always skipped over or ignored.

Either way, the idea's pretty funny. I could imagine Aang pretending to be all mighty and all with a mustache and Zuko wearing orange pajamas.
