Wow, I LOVE the style and tone of this fic. This was SO well done, SO in character, SO haunting, SO beautiful, and SO emotionally vivid. I wasn't expecting this when I went in. Moments of Al having acute life-changing revelations about his brother. Moments of Ed feeling vulnerable and working through it in all of his normal, angry ways, but being stopped at every turn. Overall, this is easily one of my favorite FMA fics so far. Maybe I'm just a sucker for this particular style, but it struck a chord and had my heart actually aching as I read. Love it!

I tried to go to sleep last night while mid way through this story. But I just laid awake in bed thinking about it, running the scenes through my head and imagining what would happen next. at 1 am I gave up and grabbed my tablet to finish reading. Such a great concept, I love the idea of Al getting dizzy as Ed is slipping towards death. Fabulous ending.

I'm just glad that this isn't Elricest... I mean, if it's a lemon, and only a lemon, then maybe it'd be okay... but for some reason, I am oddly reluctant to pair the Elric brothers together.

honestly if I had to pick my single absolute most favorite fic in the entire fma archive, it would be this one. I keep coming back to reread it over and over again and it's gotten to the point where I have some passages so familiar that they're half memorized and it feels like coming back home every time I open this up. I wish I could favorite it again every time I read it but since that's not possible, at least here's another review and my eternal thanks for this one

Ahhhhh this is so good! Fics that explore Ed's eating habits always fascinate me, and I especially love how you've handled the whole topic here. Everything about this fic is so on point and I really enjoyed reading it!

I really enjoyed this story; this might be my favorite FMA oneshot so far. Typically, oneshots don't convey plot development as well as multichapter stories do, but you did it very well! (granted, this is a rather long oneshot lol) Thanks for writing!

I loved it. Especially I love how you remember all the - er - constraints? (not a native, me, not sure it's a right word) poor Al has to deal with. Love also the fact that you remembered about the automail - it has to take a lot of energy out of body. And generally - very impressive work you did here :)
