This is so amazing that I can’t accurately describe it in words. Seeing the police division’s perspective on Conan is just wonderful. I think I just reread this whole story at least 5 times in a row in one sitting.

Is it possible to just frame a fanfic?

I read this story like 4 or 5 years ago when I first got into Detective Conan
Something happened where I suddenly remembered this series out of the blue, and I wondered what fanfics were still up.
I found this one.
And I have to say ITS STILL AS GOOD AS IT WAS SO LONG AGO

*coos* It's so nice to see things from the Police's perspective like this. I like the idea that they're more humoring Conan's silly efforts to be more childish at this point than believing it, especially the ones who knew Shinichi for any length of time, and thus are at least passingly familiar with uncommonly brilliant kids (even if most of them hadn't known a little-Shinichi to realize how young that kind of brilliance can manifest, aside from Megure, until meeting Conan). Conan's not very good at maintaining a cover, is he? Especially at first, when he was so unbalanced and bewildered and not at all ready to commit to needing to for any longer than a week or two.

Oh my god that was hilarious! I feel very inspired now if I weren’t so busy with uni I’d probably write something. Eh, maybe over the break. Thank you so much for posting this, works that inspire me are my favorite! I hope you publish another piece about how Shigeru meets Conan. Good luck!

It's been years since I first read this, but it remains one of my favorite Detective Conan stories.

Now I'm imagining a sequel to this where Conan's mom (Yukiko in disguise of course) comes to visit him when he's with some of the officers or at the police station and they end up either interrogating her or playing 'keep away' with Conan

Awww ok now we definitely need some sequel where shigeru actually meets conan and a crime so he can actually experience it all XD can you make that?! CAN ANYONE MAKE THAT? I neeed to see that! XD
