Really enjoyed this! I love the ending with the "Why wouldn't I?" and how Simon doesn't even think anything of it but to them it shows that he's exactly their kind of people. I love too how frantic he manages to feel in this fic - his panic, his desire to leave, his need to pay attention to River & make sure he doesn't do anything. My only complain is that I really wish I could have seen more! I really enjoyed this alternate take on their first meeting and now I'm very intrigued as to how it would have continued.

Ooh, I loved it...so much better than there actual meeting. I wish Kaylee had said something. Simon's answer to Captain Reynolds question was great..they definitely would have bonded much sooner with that question earlier than Simon threatening to let Kaylee die

I think it would be interesting if you continued this, it would be neat to get a little more of the reactions, like how simon will react to mal now, and how mal will react to simon. also I would think simon would be a little nervous as he and river were technically sorta kidnapped.

I really this introduction :) Poor Simon, just wanted to walk away from it all. He's been alone for so long (well, with his sister, but that's both good and bad in different ways...)

That was a great read! I love stories centered near or around Simon. I love Simon's character; what he went through and chooses to continue going through all for his sister is the best underlying plot in the show. You did a great job capturing that in this connection between the Tam siblings was perfect too! I can completely envision River accidentally breaking Simon's ribs so recently after breaking free of the Alliance. I also loved the interactions between the crew and Simon and River (especially with Mal and Zoe).

Keep up the great work and I hope I get the chance to read more Firefly stories from you!

This was one of the best AU 'verses about the way the Tams joined Serenity. I love how we hear most of the siblings dialogue from Zoe's perspective, but it is so easy to picture the scene with the snippets we do get! Excellent job! My highest compliment is to with this were longer than a one-shot and to beg for more ;)
