Discussions with fellow authors and my own considerations have led me to the conclusion that How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World is not nearly as impressive as people appear to think. The Avengers are broken and scattered across the globe after the events of Civil War. But when Peter Parker is taken by the very worst of humanity, Tony Stark will do whatever it takes to get him back, even if it means hunting down former friends and enemies to do it.

Sherlock would always be haunted by memories of one particular case. The first body, its once-so-familiar features blurred by the passing of time and death, moved him more than he would ever have expected. But the worst was the skeleton he uncovered later, bits of hair and clothes still clinging to it—which had no effect on him whatever, until he looked up and saw John's face.

"I thought she was making you do lines?" said McGonagall. "She is, yeah. But she didn't have me use ink," he said. "I am not Professor Trelawney," she said. "And despite that fact, I am still not psychic. You will have to use your words." OotP. No pairings.

On the few times that John actually notices Sherlock's humanity, it gives him a sense of being refreshed. Sherlock's only human. It's nice to see. Series of oneshots highlighting Sherlock's emotions, because we all know that he has them. Rated M: Chapter Seventy-Four for swearing and mentions of drug use; it's skippable.
