Noooooooooo! Just read the completion date after finishing this one and checking for a sequel. I definitely hope you find the time to finish it someday, as it sounds even better than this already excellent story was.

I realise we'll probably never get "Burnt by the Sun" but I figured I'd drop a line here (if you're even going to see it) about how much I enjoyed both these previous instalments and to let you know people (or - at least - person) are still enjoying your work.
I hope that someday, even if you're not the one holding the pen, this magnificent tale gets the ending it deserves.

Wow. Such a well written fic. Yet again, I wonder what reviewers on this site are thinking. Some works that are just sooooo poorly written have so few reviews. And then I find a gem like this. Complex characters with many layers of motivation and a multi-faceted plot with a rather unique twist. It's too bad you never finished your sequel. Perhaps you could upload the equivalent of the first movie? I'd love to read what you've got.

So, I know that you said not to expect the sequel any time soon, but 8 years is a bit much. Any chance of posting? Because it seems like exactly the kind of fic I've always wanted to read, but it doesn't exist. Sadness.

I like this one, and the previous one, I really do. They're great. I read the first one 3 times. But, an OT AU of Luke raised by Vader, running off to join the rebels (especially when he already knows and loves Mara), is all if my favorite things in one and everything I've ever wanted! I need it! I need it so bad!

So I'm generally not a fan of Luke/Mara, but I really like the way it works here. Luke and Vader's plans sound very interesting, and I am a bit worried about Palpatine's sudden interest in Luke's possible children. Since it's been so long, I'm wondering if you're ever going to post the sequel? I really enjoyed this fic and the prequel. Luke seems like he's toeing the line between the Light side and the Dark side at moments and I can't wait to see what the Rebellion will do for him...
