The heartbreaking part was when it said, " ...almost as if they knew what exactly they had done by falling in love that summer."

Wow, I really enjoyed this story! Usually I don't like most of the Lily and James fics because I feel like the authors don't get the characters right but I really liked your versions of Lily and James. I remember you mentioning that your Lily is a bit Hermione-ish but she was more fun and likely to break the rules. That's how I always imagined Lily to be so I really like that someone else wrote her that way.

I also loved your writing style and sense of humor! It's been a while since I've laughed so much when reading a fanfic.
