ChaoticInscriber chapter 7 . 6/3/2019 An emergency medical alert on a literal button? Brilliant. Makes perfect sense for the Minister whether or not many others have something similar. One of those things that make you wonder why no one else developed it! You have quite an excellent turn of phrase, my friend. It adds even more delight to your excellent writing. |
ChaoticInscriber chapter 6 . 6/3/2019 THAT LAST LINE! 3 |
ChaoticInscriber chapter 5 . 6/3/2019 Impressive! |
ChaoticInscriber chapter 4 . 6/3/2019 XD As far as I know, Hogwarts predates the Ministry. So I'm going to headcanon that one of Sal's descendants helped with getting him more frames to access at the Ministry after it cropped up and proved to stick around some. Makes sense to me. Why would every Heir declare such if there was no need? There had to be at least a few who were neither batshit insane or too untrustworthy to ask for such aid. Like Harry! :) (I wouldn't put it past Sal to have had a pile of extra frames made when his portrait and the Hogwarts frames were made, either, as a "Just In Case". Presuming it would be easier and more reliable to tie the magics together all at once at the start than to add them later.) |
ChaoticInscriber chapter 3 . 6/3/2019 I like all the little tidbits of Sal keeping an eye on things. It's starting to feel like he planned to have all those hidey-holes to help his portrait spy around with on purpose. An insurance policy, so he could keep an eye out for his students' descendants and his own, his legacy of the School. It's especially fun that his Youngest are planning parallel to him, even catching him off guard, but with plots that he is proud of and is delighted to embrace and enhance/take advantage of. They're not relying completely on Sal for help, but actively working on their own to progress and in such appropriate ways! 3 |

ChaoticInscriber chapter 1 . 6/3/2019 *cheers* Sal's portrait? I love it! It's totally plausible too, since it's been plenty long enough for people to forget what exactly the Founders looked and acted like. Too many centuries of propaganda, of one sort or another. The only people who have good reason to still recognize their Founder Sal are his Heirs, whom he can speak to and thus convince in the talent that lies in their bloodline, refreshing the line's memory. Perhaps the other Founders might have portraits as well, but if they don't tell, how would anyone know after long enough? |
