 Author has written 5 stories for Sherlock, and StarTrek: The Original Series. Okay--a little about me. I'm 46 years old, female, a Doctor of Medicine in middle America, a Geocacher, and previously to January, 2014, my fannish life had been defined by, in chronological order: Star Wars, James Bond, The Lord of the Rings, The Dragonriders of Pern, Star Trek, British comedy, Harry Potter. But things are all different now--all because in January I decided to pull out the Sherlock DVD's I'd bought on a recent shopping excursion. Hadn't seen the show yet and one evening my best friend/housemate/partner-in-crime/Watson-to-my-Holmes sat there with me and we watched it together. Now I know what it is like to be a drug addict. I need my Sherlock fix daily. And I'm in love with Benedict Cumberbatch. So now, I am doing what I used to do when I couldn't get enough Star Trek. I'm starting to write again, reading more fanfic than I ever thought I would, and I love it. |
