I absolutely loved this story, I couldn't stop reading it after I found it! I'm going to start the sequel right now.

Great story! I appreciate how you mostly just skimmed canon parts and focused on when Zuko really changes up things.

With Ozai and Ursa as parents, it's actually Zuko turning into a decent human being that's an anomaly. Azula being who she is, is what you would have expected from all that.

If Zuko's elder sister is even a tiny bit of a snob, I would actually want to see Azula burn her at the stake.. That should serve Ursa right. If she's anything like Ty Lee though, we should be good. XD

Anyway, hope to see more bromance action. Zutara implications feels wrong though, Zucest only without Azula. Thankfully the focus is mostly on the adventure.

Looking forward for more unconventional bending from our resident hotman. Hopefully some Uncle Iroh moments and Toph in the next books. I miss hot tea leaf juice. XD

No longer scarred Zuko, huh? i did LOVE the part when he got a face full of fire for his efforts though. not because i hate him, but because it showed how much he loved his friends that he put himself in such mortal danger for them.

ok. Jeong Jeong helped Zuko by giving him the respect he deserved, but man he was not someone i wanted to get close to Zuko, at least so soon. especially his "firebending is inherently evil and destructive" shtick.

the prophecy! i really believed it was EPIC foreshadowing in ATLA regarding Zuko's Heel-Face turn and his eventual romance with Katara while Aang was the red herring... but as it turned out, it was just the obvious.

i always forget, but Jet was really racist wasn't he? most of the TLA people were, now that i think about it. it's like how the English hated the French and vice-versa. When you're in a war that's a century long, shit will get personal.
