I kept wanting *someone* to point out to Bekme that Padme, founder of the forefront of the rebels via the "Delegation of 2,000" and eternal supporter of democracy would have spat in her face for using her name as justification for being a lap dog to Palpatine (even while realizing that this was written before RotS came out).
