Guest chapter 3 . 9/28
*sad noises* here i was thinking it was gon be all fluff, having completely forgotten the warning at the start ;-;
also that sounds like a really fun birthday tradition
Guest chapter 2 . 9/28
i just feel sO bad for steeb, cause literally they only gave him two weeks before- oh my god. just, dont even...dont even let me go down that rabbithole of angst. i can rant for a long time about that specific subject.
(also, great writing! its nice and easy to read, and the simplicity is calming to me. Not too advanced language, which, maybe cause english isnt my main language, usually tires me at length)
also yeah, my dislike for Pierce know no bounds either :D
Guest chapter 1 . 9/28
YEs! I love this! I scrolled past the sequel, and having read some of your other genius fics already, I decided to give the long one a go. And I agree, steebs confusion makes very much sense. Cannot WAIT to read this to an end, sequel as well! i was maybe a little confused about the whole returning-the-scepter thing, but I know for a fact ill still enjoy this immensely!
GRRRRRREAT JOB 3
sunwillshineonusagain chapter 20 . 9/22
THIS IS SO GOOD
CoffeeAndOakLeaves chapter 4 . 9/22
The conversation between Tony and Steve at the beginning of the chapter was really well written! I love the way you're building their friendship! And the way Steve is still learning about how the future (present?) is different is so realistic—you've done an amazing job with that!
I think Steve and Tony working together to take down HYDRA is great and I also love the way Clint just randomly crawls through the vents!
(In my other review I think I said decade when I really meant century. Whoops. Sorry 'bout that.)
Have a great day!
CoffeeAndOakLeaves chapter 3 . 9/22
Hello!
So far this story is amazing! Yours is the first fic I've read that deals with the 2012 Avengers after Endgame, and I really, really love it!
I think you wrote the birthday party scene super well! Thor's confusion over candles and other Midgardian birthday traditions was hilarious and I was laughing to myself while reading your description of the Avengers' rendition of Happy Birthday!
I love the way you've written Steve and Tony's friendship, it feels very in-character and realistic.
(Also, poor Steve. He's doing so much better than I ever would if I woke up one day to find myself almost a decade into the future.)
Thanks for writing!

The fires red. I’m not crying
Tonhalszendvics chapter 20 . 7/27
Hiya!
I don't even know, how could I miss your story until this exact day. I couldn't stop myself; I had to read the whole thing. My daily schedule isn't happy, but screw it.
Thank you for this fic! Thank you for giving them time to recover!
GuidingHand chapter 7 . 7/3
I like that Steve says Tony is only taller than his original self because his boots add a few inches. Though Tony Stark is supposed to be the shortest of the Avengers, RDJ had to wear lifts in his shoes because there was too much of a height difference between him and the other male actors.
GuidingHand chapter 6 . 7/3
I haven't read the comics, but I just assume that in the comics his parents died when he was 17 and the film's decided to go with 21. I often deal with death by hiding in nostalgic comedies and Disney/Pixar cartoons. It allows you breaks between the tears and obsessively thinking about it.
GuidingHand chapter 2 . 7/3
Happy birthday is one of the hardest songs to stay on tune for. Your story reminded me of when I went to try out for a play and no one warned me that I should bring my own music. They had me sing happy birthday and I did not do well. Yeah, so I didn't get the part, but oh well other plays other days. Thanks for writing.
Darth Krande chapter 20 . 7/2
Thank you for writing and sharing this!
Darth Krande chapter 19 . 7/2
Nice. As for food budget and calories though, I guess it would work if Steve had to buy all the food for Bucky? He'd be more responsible and reasonable, and you mentioned that Bucky's metabolism isn't as rapid as Cap's.
Darth Krande chapter 18 . 7/2
You totally turned the characters uphead-down compared to the movieverse, and I adore how Tony and Steve take care of each other.
Darth Krande chapter 16 . 7/2
Assembling furniture a torture!? Have you ever done house-cleaning, dear sir / madam?
Seriously, assembling things is good and gives you a tangible result and you can even use it once the task is carried out. Compare with keeping a home in order and relatively dust-free. The more I fight for it in one room, the more all the others get clogged up, seriously!

As for therapy, I wonder when you'd bring these two to a morning jog together. Three, if you count Sam too! (Ok that was evil ;) )
