28.2.2014 - Okay. So, apparently I've turned year-long hiatuses into an artform. Deeply sorry. Unfortunately, will probably happen again.

Here's the scoop: A few months after updating The Brightest Star, I fell off the anime bandwagon. (coinciding with my initiation into the Supernatural fandom. Who knew?) It's only been within the past few weeks that I've returned to my roots (I say returned, I mean forcibly dragged back into.) So, the questions you're all probably asking: what does this mean for The Brightest Star?

This thing is, TBS is a story that I began writing and outlining when I was thirteen, and my writing sucked ass. I was hit with a burst of inspiration after a year or so, leading to chapter 6, which sucks slightly less than the other chapters. And now I'm almost seventeen, and I don't think I can add on to the story right now, given its inconsistent quality.

I'm not abandoning The Brightest Star, though. I'm actually planning on revamping what I have written so far, so that I can add on more chapters without feeling like the quality of the fic keeps jumping up and down. I don't know when this will happen; could be within the month, could take longer. I really can't say.

Thank you all for the patience! I'm really stunned that this fic has gotten so many followers, so I'm really going to do my best to get this story finished (eventually) because you all deserve it.
