Oh God. This is the sweetest thing on Earth. I've been grining like an idiot through almost all of it, and on the verge of tears in these two last chapters. But God, the way you wrote Charles and Erik's friendship is perfect. First of all, I really loved the idea of five-year-old Charles (fancy dressed and all) being a cutie and talking to five-year-old silent, sulky Erik. You've made their friendship develop in such a natural and beautiful way through the years! The messages they exchanged while Erik was traveling were adorable. And oh my, I'm soooo glad you didn't put Charles in a wheelchair permanently! I mean, c'mon, we already have enough angst in canon X-men, we don't more in the fanfics haha
Also, the kiss was the most fantastic thing to read. You described it wonderfully. I loved it.
