Thank you for taking the time to write this story. I don’t comment often but I’ve reread this like 3 times and I feel like you deserve a gushing review. Your pacing is wonderful, like the character development and the way the plot doesn’t happen too quickly but also isn’t a snails pace. I like how romance takes the backseat, how you let the characters be friends first not just jump to kissing. I fascinated by the twists in things. How Yuzu isn’t completely excluded from the plot or worse completely replaced. I love a lot about this honestly. And, even if you don’t ever continue this, I want you to know that what you’ve written is more than enough.

Please continue this! I really like how you write the developement of Toshirin! Some just move it to fast and feels ooc on Hitsugaya part. I really want a badass shinigami Karin fighting, her Kido is amazing. I'm curious of how her shikai looks. And Ichigo! How will he react , and Aizen too~ will he use Karin for something, and with how she use Bankai when she is not ready, will she get a hollow?!

Once again, please continue this, don't stop it here as this is a wonderful Fanfic!

And so it becomes a family affair. I'm interested to see what Yuzu's new knowledge of the spiritual world will bring to the story. She's a helper by nature, and with everyone she loves involved, I'm sure the only thing that must feel worse for her than being kept in the dark so long is the idea that she might just be completely helpless do do anything for her family. I'm here for a Yuzu supporting character arc!
I can't wait for everything to come. You've developed Karin so beautifully and I really look forward to seeing the sort of young woman she grows into and the further progression of her relationship to one Hitsugaya Taicho. That said, her relationships to her sword, her mentors, and herself are equally satisfying to watch in on.
I'm especially eager to see her grow into her power. I love what you've done with her themes: storms being a force of nature, loud and powerful in a very raw and primal way, in juxtaposition with the ethereal beauty, serenity, and stillness of a starry night. Two totally different images, each with it's own sense of mystery, yet all taking place in the same sky. Gah. You're some kind of brilliant.
The Karin we see in cannon is both violent and brash yet also shown to be quite sensitive, mature, and empathic (or at least she certainly seemed to be in the parakeet episode). You've done a beautiful job highlighting this duality in her nature and expanding upon it. She comes off as highly nuanced, sensible, and complex. I adore everything about her. You've done her such a service.
I'd love to see even more of Toshiro's point of view going forward as well. The world needs more well written, introspective, Hitsugaya. I'm eager to see what the future holds for his character development and individual growth. Mostly, I just really want to see what they become together, and how they get there. I'm so excited to have taken the journey. Thank you!

You're ability to convey the intensity and depth of your characters emotions, using not just descriptive words but entire scenes to drive it all home, is nothing short of remarkable. You've brought home a sense of urgency, danger, and crushing reality that even the manga has never quite managed and I solute your talents. This extended universe is wonderful, fascinating, and I love your descriptions of the metaphysical. This story has gone from light-hearted, fluffy, and fun to deep, philosophical, and heart-wrenching, sometimes all in the span of a chapter- yet another testament to your remarkable skill. I'm utterly captivated. Off to read the rest. I don't want it to end!

Hmm... I can't really say how many times I have been reading "Catalyst" already, but it is many, many times. It is a bit odd, because I am usually very neutral to ships (I usually like stories the way they are), and I would probably not have been into Toushirou and Karin if it wasn't for this story. I found "Catalyst" per accident, and wasn't really aware of the anime at the time, as I typically only read manga. I really like both characters and so decided to give this story a go.

I really love the flow in the story: the chapters are not subdivided into POVs and strangely placed presents, pasts and futures, but spoken language and thoughts just flow from one scene into the other without breaking. The characters are also almost 100% true to character, and I like how the story stayed as close to the manga/anime as possible. I like the soulmate theme, it easily fits also in the entire thing called Bleach, but I would say that the thing that keeps getting me back to this story is the description of Karin's zanpakutou. It's stunning D

I hope this story will be continued, story/canon-wise that is definitely doable: Kubo left enough (loop)holes which can be filled up (and I hope he will some day soon-ish...one can wish, right ;). Or why not as a canon sequel? While I believe the final (manga) arc started on such a good note (I think the story became darker, almost as if the Bleach universe was growing up, I think it actually was), I do got frustrated with how everything got so, so rushed. I would love to read about how Toushiro developed his Bankai up to the final arc, and I think "Catalyst" (or a sequel to it) is a good platform for that D
