Donni chapter 1 . 6/28/2017 awwwww |
Guest chapter 1 . 4/17/2016 Why you write so gud? (I need to sleep) |
Gotaru chapter 1 . 4/12/2016 "It was an excuse not to go home, not to lie on his bed in the dark, while his unconscious mind painted the inside of his eyelids with blood and fire." I would like to start saying how much i REALLY loved that sentence. It's very powerful! So meaningful and accurate with Roy it's almost scary. Now, talking about the story in general: it's been a while since i've read something so perfectly written the way this is. Really! I mean, there is just nothing more to add, and your manage of the situation was wonderful. And while i do love stories featuring Ed and Roy with a parental touch between them, well damn, i'll most admite to myself that i got tired of them very quickly because of two factors: overexploitation and the awful way they (Almost always) completen forget about Alphonse's existence. As you say, the relationship between Mustang and Al it's a very interesting topic. And you did it incredibly good! I'm in love with this! :) The whole conversation and that final gesture of Roy, wow, i don't think you could have made it more perfectly (And beautiful, i most say). Thanks, Roy. Thank you a lot. And thanks to YOU for writting this, it made my morning better. :) |
Blue Teller chapter 1 . 4/1/2015 This story is so beautiful :') I really love interactions between Roy and Al, because the two are so different but at the same time have many things in common. People tend to think Ed has a father-son relationship with Roy, but if it's true, it should be even more so for Al, because of his inner strength and soft nature. Alphonse is such a brilliant character, too bad he's seriously underestimated (because he's surrounded by so many flashy characters). Every story where he's solo (without Ed) is precious, even though I love Ed too. It's just... brilliant. |
Fire From Above chapter 1 . 7/8/2014 I like that there was nothing much Roy could do but offer some company. |
totallystellar chapter 1 . 8/26/2012 Al and Roy interaction is divine. :) |
BeTrueToThyself chapter 1 . 4/14/2012 :) Aw... |
Crystal Suzuhara chapter 1 . 8/18/2011 Awwwwww you opened a whole new respect for Al. From me to Al, thank you. |
Shandrial chapter 1 . 7/1/2011 Well that was just lovely! You don't see many stories that focus on a bond between Mustang and Al, any kind of bond for that matter. People really do tend to leave Al out, which is a shame. The two character's are so different, but I think still able to understand each other since Roy/Riza function the same way Ed/Al tend to. This was a nice little glimpse into the kind of relationship the two could very well share. Well done. |
Gisel0202 chapter 1 . 6/9/2011 Wonderful! I really liked it :D |
Laora chapter 1 . 6/8/2011 I absolutely LOVE you for writing this. It's so...I don't even know. Both of them are perfectly in character, and you hit such an important issue for Al, and for Mustang, and... Lord, I'm rambling. I'm just trying to tell you that this is really, really good, and I absolutely love it. Thank you so much for writing :3 |
DreamWalker18 chapter 1 . 6/8/2011 This was really sweet. I liked the way you portrayed Mustang as a sort of parental figure to Al. Great job! ~Kara~ |
maryh10000 chapter 1 . 6/8/2011 Oh how wonderful and horrifying and tragic. "And now, his increasingly infrequent night visits to past sins seemed a small price to pay." A very possible look at what never sleeping might really mean. I also like the idea that Roy naps during the day because of problems sleeping at night. |
