This was amazing! I haven't enjoyed a fanfic as much as this one in a long time. The plot, romance, and characters were well written and the story flowed beautifully. Great job!

First thing, I dislike random Japanese words such as hai, demo, ano, ohayo, arigatou, ne... (And daijoubu not daijoobu) being overused in many fics (why people why?) since they not only sounds very unnatural while it's 90% English and, they're not used correctly in some cases (such as gender, age, situation...) so it's very irritating. Aside from this, and the fact that Hinata can't have her vision back... I'll probably give this fic full marks.
I've stumbled onto Sasuhina ship only a few weeks ago (I know, very late) and decided to create my first fanfiction account not long after that and read tons of Sasuhina fics. I'm the type of reader that is hard to pleased as you can see, especially when it comes to characters staying canon or not. However, you deserve to earn my first ever review! Finally, I've found it! A fic with both Not-OOC Sasuke and HINATA. I really don't get it, why do many other people love Hinata being bold while approaching her partner? She's the type who'd never DARES to kisses/hugs anyone until her partner kisses/hugs her intentionally at least once or twice. People, she's shy as f can't you see? She hadn't kissed Naruto until he actually confessed back to her (and before that she fainted easily when it comes to him) so how could she has the guts to steal Sasuke's lips first or taking any other initiative actions such as merely touching hands when he only likes her a little bit? She's like one of those traditional Japanese girl! She only said she loved Naruto only when she thought she would die and could never see him again. Please use these hints to write your fics. And damn it, I really am proud of you Author-san for realising all of this! The sweet, shy innocent Hinata. And she doesn't laugh randomly, only cutely/shyly smiles for most cases and giggles when happier. Hinata is the one that I have hard time finding her staying original in fics. Excellent job! And Sasuke? An in-character Sasuke who loves someone, madly, is undoubtedly hard to be written, but you pulled it off smoothly with the roots and possibilities in his head! You've nailed it! No wonder this has so many reviews. I have read some other popular fics but never really interested, although their plot might be good but- their Hinata doesn't meet my expectation. I even skipped some of the parts of their intimate interaction and only skimmed through the plot out of curiosity.
And Ikigai... The plot might not not the best, but it's the progression and writing style that is awfully gripping and touching. Angsts, dramas and such, I rarely cry for them since real life is already full of those, and this story... I cried of happiness. Their love has a big healing effect on me. Especially chapter 30. You really know how to hit in the feels. Thank you so much! Hope that this fandom wouldn't die anytime soon and more amazing stories like this one would exist!
