Sometimes I think you have no clue what impact your great story has. I wish I could give you some more reason to motivate you (as you said you find it difficult to find motivation). Your style is unique, I love how you use words, and I love that whole story. Please never stop to work on it to make it complete, it is so worth of being finished in the best of ways.
It was a damn constant in my life, I remember there were just a few chapters when I started reading it, seemingly a lifetime ago, but among others, I always returned to see if there were any updates, and I was so excited when there was one.
There are SOME things you hold on to when everything seems dark and goes wrong. Let me tell you... that your story was one of them.

Omg. Yes. I followed this fanfiction for since 2008 and like your other followers, i squealed when i saw the update! I still remember what happened a few days ago when i honestly just checked my phone and suddenly shouted 'YES!' as i stood right up from my seat while i was having lunch with my friend in a restaurant. Luckily, she was a Literature MA Student, she understood the excitement that a reader can get when one of authors updated - especially authors that created a great story.
I have read this story more than 10 times and until now, it still captures my heart like the first time i read this. As you said, the fic is nearing to a close and so I hope you update soon! The cliffhanger is totally making me excited for the next chapter and i am telling you now that this fanfic has always had a special place in my heart.

I can't believe that the situation could actually get even more out of hand than before! _

I may have just sacrificed two hours of sleep because once I saw the notification in the email, I couldn't wait to the next day to read it. Now it will take another hour until my heart calms down enough to sleep... Totally worth it.

God, this was so good. I dropped absolutely everything to sit down and read this the minute I saw the update in my inbox! But mostly, I'm just glad to see you're around! Every year around December I think about this story and send a small thought out to the universe that you're doing well. I've lost track of how long I've been following this story now, but it's become something I really look forward to seeing updates for. I dunno what I'll do with myself when it's finally complete haha.

But seriously. This was very well done. I was filled with a sense of anticipation and dread, and a bit of excitement throughout the whole chapter. I really loved the inclusion of Selphie's dad, and I think you did a wonderful job with the character. It was a very well placed scene considering everything else that has been going on around Squall. Your writing has always had a good pacing to it, it never feels like it slows down too much or stalls out like some scenes in other stories do at times. The way you word your prose just keeps pulling the reader along until they hit the end. I am going to be on pins and needles at this cliffhanger for ages, everything has really ramped up more and more and boy oh boy I can't wait to see how this will all end. But I wouldn't have it any other way. Your updates are always, always worth the wait honestly.
