About:
Singaporean male born in the year 2002, am currently studying in Polytechnic, IT course. For some bizarre reason, friends and strangers alike compare me to Hikigaya Hachiman. Best guess is they see my pessimism, cynicism, and tendency to help others and immediately connect it to one of my favourite animes. Eh, I guess there are worse people I could've been compared to. I've enjoyed reading since I was age 6, and I've always done above average when it came to writing compositions, emails, etcetera. It was only at age 13 when I decided to write a One Punch Man story for fun, and this hobby has been developing since.
I must admit, my writing is rather subpar. I could be praised for a relatively good grasp of the English language, but my vocabulary extends as far as "what my brain is used to using", thus I can never quite write as passionately as I'd like, opting instead for the basic vocabulary I use when I interact with others. Additionally, my world and character building are rather lacking, thus I find it difficult to write a continuous story with a long-term plot. After trying to for so long, I've concluded that I'm better off writing oneshots, and those are the type of stories I enjoy writing. However, for the sake of wanting to write a progressive story that I can enjoy similarly to those I've read, I keep trying.
Interests:
In terms of what I read, I'll read anything as long as the English isn't terrible and the characters aren't... well, "butchered". Don't take this as me saying I'm unwilling to read OOC stories, though. Basically, if the character is well written and/or hasn't been changed on a whim just for the sake of it, it's fine. This means that genre, ships, OCs and other points of contest do not affect me at all. In fact, I've found myself enjoying some Yaoi and even Alpha/Beta/Omega stories more than the more standard dynamics.
In terms of series I am well acquainted with (not the full list, but notable ones I've invested more time into reading fanfiction of/rewatching/theorycrafting)
Anime:
-One Punch Man
-My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU
-Kabukichou Sherlock
TV Series:
-Gravity Falls
-CBS' Elementary
-BBC's Sherlock
In terms of gaming... eh. Whatever catches my interest.
