Loving the whole setting of the second scene, the emphasis on [Mondays where Lestrade went to work].

Loved the strong opening and setup, especially at the part of [tell the time by Molly's hair] It's so descriptive, I should take a page from you. Not the best when it comes to describing characters as you've discovered.
Loved the conflicting internal struggle Lestrade is depicted when Molly starts fretting about John. Really liked the dialogue; easy to read, clear, and the pacing /transition into the next scene is seamless.
Thank you for the definition of a bedsit lol. I think [hideous curtains with plastic backing] should belong "in" the bathroom.
1 typo found in the same paragraph as the bedsit - [forlorn-looking]
I would remove that comma after bed and add it right before he sat on the bed - [When John brought her cup,] the comma usage being used here looks iffy. But as I read on, I noticed there is a recurring theme of this comma usage, so I'm not sure if this is your writing style. Moving forwards, the daily recount of events greatly amuses me. Molly's such a darling. Very Mom-like.
[Impatient movement] sounds a bit ambiguous considering everything described before that, has been clear-cut.
[Hunting falcon] - I adore this.
Oh, is Molly on contract with Mycroft? This is cool.
I remember why I dislike this guy. He gives off this dismissive tone and the dialogue written suits this genius perfectly. The ending especially!

He ushered her into a nearby vacant office and shut the door behind them, turning on the fluorescent lights and waiting for them to flicker to life. The room was frigid, and obviously hadn't seen sunlight in a long time. To save the awkward pause, he went over and twitched the blinds open. "Molly... Listen, um, we're kind of slammed just now -" This was a lie, as the only slamming anyone was doing upstairs was Thompson slamming the photocopier. "Is this something that can wait?"
