6 months later Yui and Yukino divorced there husbands and went with Hachiman along Mira. Hachiman proposed all 3 of them and they said yes obviously. A year later all three woman are pregnant. Family is born. You get the idea. They all live happily ever after!

I have a feeling that this was written by someone from USA. The cultural difference is so apparent that its cringey.

This is one of the best stories that i've ever read. Thanks for this awesome story.

I think this was a genuinely good story with a genuinely good ending. Yui and Yukino deserve to be happy, and hopefully Haruno's meddling sees to it. Hikki deserves to be happy too, and he is. Good shit, my dude.

What a curveball...

It was able to keep my interest, but I feel this story veered way too far into the dramatic. I can understand Yukino not moving on. She had nothing else in her life but Hikki after all. But Yuigahama should have moved on after 15 years. She had plenty of family and friends outside of Hikki to support her after all.

Honestly the depressing part in both this and The End of the Affair is how Yukino consistently fails to stand up for herself and ends up being miserable for her entire life. In character perhaps, but still depressing. I just hope canon ends on a happier note. Some authors like having their story draw ANY emotional reaction out of their readers (often resorting to manipulation with overly contrived terrible shit happening to good people) but IMO a good story inspires its readers to live, enjoy life, and make the world a better place. It gives people energy rather than taking it from them. Life is barely worth living even with such stories to inspire people to continue.

This is just... beautiful.

Hikigaya deserves something genuine. That person needs happiness. I am glad you went with the Yumiko Route.
