I am so confused because Mycroft referred to Mary Harper as miss hooper and there was somewhat of a crossover with bbc sherlock that I'm unsure who died and how many Holmes there are...

This was great! I feel like you've put in all the "information" to figure out this puzzle, but the solution is still not certain (like the part about the jumping?). That's usually how I feel when reading a SH story, so it's awesome. I can't wait to read the next story.

I went into Elementary thinking it would be horrid but I love Miller. So I'm waiting for fics like this that connect the two fandoms in a semi logical fashion. Can't wait for more!

I like that they are being all competative about sobriety.

This was great! I love the fast-pace of the dialogue and the complex plot. The choice of words that Sherlock and "Sherrinford" use is just perfect.

BTW-I get that some of this refers to some of the events in "Sherlock" so I'm sure I will be able to put two and two together once I get caught up on all of the episodes. I can tell you are a great plotter here and we're in for a good story.

Sherrinford was also Doyle's original name for Sherlock Holmes but then somewhere along the line, he changed it. :) Good thing he did since who would want to go through life as Sherrinford?

Great first chapter! I'm so glad people are writing stories for this show! Now if only I can come up with some sort of fic idea...probably something to do with his violin...
Anyway, I really like the dialogue in this. It's so believable and I love that Sherrinford seems to have the same attitude as his cousin. Actually, everything was really believable and poor Joan getting stuck between two such infuriating men!

And I loved Mycroft's comment, that was awesome.

Ok I love love love this. I feel puzzled about some of the connections here, but I have a feeling that's just where you want me! ;)

You were totally spot on with the characterization and fast-paced dialogue and I know I'm about to read this again to pick up anything I might have missed!

Fav. Parts: Move the key to the doormat, It'll drive him crazy that he was wrong. and the part about the peanut allergy! That was golden!
