Hachiman and Iroha have been having plenty more practice dates after their first one, to the point of them becoming a weekly affair. Hachiman realizes the consequences of what they're doing and has decided to do something about it.

Riajuu: a person living the good life, someone who reached the pinnacle of happiness. Riajuus, according to Hikigaya Hachiman, should just explode. But when a bystander films Hachiman rescuing a dog from an oncoming car, and the video becomes an internet hit overnight, will he still harbour the same resentment towards Riajuus when society starts seeing him as one?

In their second year of high school, Yukino and Yui had both confessed to Hachiman. Unable to choose between them, Hachiman took the third option: he declined. Now in university, the members of the Service Club have gone their separate ways. With a goal in life set, Hachiman enters Chiba University with the intention of becoming a Japanese literature professor. Hachiman x Yumiko.

Saki Kawa-something makes a request to the service club. However, only one member is needed which is Hikigaya? Family ties are close but perhaps something else is closer?
