Well, this would be readable if you didn't throw in actions that characters make like this [exasperated sigh]. It's really simple to make those types of descriptions flow easily. I'll give an example.

King was a bit saddened that this fic will not live up to it's namesake. He sat down with an exaggerated sigh, "Why author? Why can't you understand that this deserves a bit more effort?", then he decided to play some games to make himself forget about his dissapointment.

Done. Example that also conveys the dissatisfaction I felt from reading this. It could be much better, but for now? I'll give it a pass, see you when/if this story gets better or a rewrite.

I think that high class heroes get a fixed payment from the HA that improves or decreases according to their rank, meaning that their days off are also paid.

So now King's intimidating presence is backed by the self confidence he got from training. It would be funny if he never got the chance to test his strength due to all enemies refusing to fight him.
