)*RADIANT REUNIONS*(

So here we go! I hereby issue my first-ever challenge to the followers of the Kingdom Hearts saga, particularly to those who love the timeless, astounding world of Radiant Garden and all its Final Fantasy residents. …Okay, maybe it’s a little Final Fantasy-heavy, but Radiant Garden seems like a very Final Fantasy-oriented world, so make sure you know your history, folks!

First of all: RULES! Don’t go anywhere without ‘em!

Rules of Engagement/Writing:

Write a series of chapters/short stories based off of the rules listed below, and the prompt/song list I will provide. Total number of chapters is to be determined.

Stories must be about the Restoration Committee members who have loved ones missing, or the main headcanon KH pairings and/or families who have been separated by Xehanort’s schemes. Other characters with possible ties to the Committee are also listed, as well as a few guests from FFXIII. A complete list of accepted character pairings/groups will be provided below.

Please, don’t “ship” yaoi or yuri during this challenge.

Should be post-KH2 & KH3D (Dream Drop Distance) canon/head-canon.

Apply elements from FFVII, FFVIII, and FFXIII as needed. Feel free to do a little research!

The oneshots/short stories should include Radiant Garden at some point. What happens is up to you guys, the writers.

Couples/families must be reunited by the end of the oneshot/story arc.

Chapter prompts can have multiple parts, (Example: Dearly Beloved Pt 1; Dearly Beloved Pt 2), or can be interlinked. This is a complex universe! Be creative!

No word limits! That’s right, this challenge is no-holds-barred on how many words per chapter. Feel free to write as long as you want.

As a "rookie" in the sixty-plus-year-old following of one of sci-fi's most enduring icons--Star Trek--it is with a heavy heart that I remember the legacy of Leonard Nimoy, who passed away today at the age of 83. He was an astounding actor, photographer, film director, and a man of unswerving conviction and warmth. To fellow Star Trek fans and to those who knew Mr. Nimoy personally...I grieve with thee.

However, in this case, like George Taikei, I think it is only fitting that I quote Mr. Nimoy's (and by extension Mr. Spock's) old friend Bill Shatner, and one of the most iconic of the Star Trek films.

"Of all the souls I have ever encountered in my travels, his was the most...human."

He shall be sorely missed.

Rest in Peace, Mr. Nimoy.
