Author has written 5 stories for Ace Combat, Mass Effect, and Metro 2033. DISCLAIMER: ALL CONTENT, NOT CREATED BY ME, BELONGS TO ITS RESPECTIVE OWNERS. A very special thank you to CyberShockwave who's been a great buddy on here, keeping me going, time, after time, after time. The guy's an absolutely incredible writer, so check out his work if you haven't. Glad to have tagged along for the ride, pal. Best of luck to you, and thanks again. War Memoirs that I highly recommend: Red Platoon by Clinton Romesha, Generation Kill by Evan Wright, The Forgotten Soldier by Guy Sajer, One Bullet Away by Nathaniel Fick, Storm of Steel a.k.a. In Stahlgewittern by Ernst Jünger, The Short Timers by Gustav Hasford(a fictional turn on Hasford's experiences in Vietnam that became Full Metal Jacket), Boyd by Robert Coram(an excellent biography on an unsung hero of the development of fighter pilots and the USAF), No Way Out by Major Adam Jowett, Mark Bowden's Black Hawk Down and Huế 1968 (awesome third person accounts of two legendary battles which shift in focus on the storylines of individuals within each battle's greater narrative. Big fan of Bowden's work), Infantry Attacks by Erwin Rommel, Dispatches by Michael Herr, and anything by Jeff and Michael Shaara(And I think without Michael's The Killer Angels I would not be here writing today). There are countless other books that I can't really remember off the top of my head, but if you get through all of that and want more recommendations, I can probably dig some out from somewhere. Also, if you'd like some help in finding information or just a place to start looking in terms of air combat and what to do, please send me a message. I'd be glad to assist. The Hidden Dragon Update My old buddy CyberShockwave has graciously agreed to write a parallel storyline for The Hidden Dragon from the perspective of Yellow Squadron and Yellow 13. I'm really excited to share his vision of the iconic pilot, as well as welcoming him back to Ace Combat writing in general. I hope you all enjoy the material as much as I have. Hope you enjoy the material, and please don't hesitate to send me a PM. I'd love to hear from you all! Thank you, and Auf Wiedersehen, Esquire 6. (To those who knew my old moniker, I have recently changed it to Esquire 6.) |
