Author has written 105 stories for StarTrek: Enterprise, StarTrek: Deep Space Nine, Battlestar Galactica: 2003, Fantastic 4, NCIS, Touched by an Angel, Alien Nation, NCIS: Los Angeles, Orville, Warehouse 13, and StarTrek: The Next Generation.
I think the most important thing a Reader needs to know about me is that I never begin the publication of a story until it is complete and thoroughly edited, and then I reedit again before publishing each Chapter. Sometimes I might do 15 to 20 edits of a Chapter to get it as perfect as I possibly can before you see it. If you begin something of mine, you never have to worry about getting vested in a work and then having it stop after 'Chapter Whatever', to remain in limbo for years, as we have all suffered with on FanFiction.
If you see Chapter One, rest assured you will read the Epilogue.
I publish on Saturdays, occasionally on Fridays if Saturday will be busy, so consider my works to be reminiscent of the old time "Saturday Morning Serials", except you don't have to buy a ticket.
Welcome to Warehouse 13!
As a long-time fan, I have written four stories for your pleasure.
'Come Forth' introduces my series, which is set a month after 'Endless', the final episode of the televised series. A critical decision has unforeseen consequences for the Agents.
'Darkest Shadows' An artifact poses a deadly threat, as one by one the agents are hunted by an enemy who knows them better than they know themselves.
'Triple Threat' gives the teams multiple threats. Myka and Pete investigate a massacre in New York, Claudia and Steve deal with a Communications artifact in Los Angeles while Leena and Artie investigate mysterious deaths in Palm Beach.
'A Moment' An unstoppable thief is cutting a swath through the city as valuables disappear under the eyes of those charged to protect them.
The Orville!
I have published two Orville stories, and I am confident that fans of the show are going to enjoy them.
'Lalaith': A disaster on Salaya finds the Orville returning to Alara's home world, but will they be able to resolve the crisis?
'Chaplain's Log': The Orville takes on several new crewpersons - and a threat they may not be able to handle.
Enterprise
Starting in 2004 I wrote a series of 26 Star Trek: Enterprise stories. The televised series was new and so I needed a POV character who could learn about the ship and cast as we did. I did not expect her to become as popular as she did, even making it into the Terran Empire.
Since 2004 my skills have increased, and so I am going back, editing and reposting those old stories. As of today, July 10, 2019, I have revised 'Golden Girl', 'A Few Words' and 'Glistni'. In the coming weeks I intend to update the entire series, and then update this paragraph.
Please let me know what you think of those old stories as you step back 15 years into Star Trek History.
I wrote my Enterprise 'Terran Empire' stories 'Face in the Dark Mirror' and 'Empress Sato' shortly after the series ended, so I recently reviewed and enhanced them. These stories take place on either side of the TV Episode 'In A Mirror Darkly', so I hope you enjoy the incidents that led up to and followed the film version of the saga.
The 'Terran Empire' is such a bountiful garden of ideas that I even brought it over into NCIS, where in 'INCIS' and 'Shepherd of the Lost' I show you some of the early days of the Empire. I then shifted to the West Coast to look in on what is happening in the Office of Special Operations with 'Hand of Prometheus'.
I have two Crossovers but I keep them in the main section because so few people seem to look in Crossovers. The first is my NCIS / Star Trek the Next Generation work 'Judgment on Risa'. I am very proud to say that I created a new organization called SCIS, and I find that I am the very first one to do a full SCIS Mystery. Since I tried putting it in the Crossover section and was getting no hits, I put it back into the NCIS section and started getting my usual 400 hits per week.
Intending to try something completely different, my second Crossover is a 21st Century NCIS / Love Boat murder mystery: 'On the High Seas'. The Love Boat series did have a 'Murder on the High Seas' and this is completely different. While the agents thought they were going to have an easy time, this is no pleasure cruise. It is also going in as a Regular story, since in my Canon this comes right after 'Sting' and before 'The Other Other Locked Room'.
Reviews. PLEASE. I live for reviews. I have 100 published stories for your enjoyment, and all I ask is feedback - without giving away the surprises, of course.
I started in this site writing Star Trek: Enterprise, Battlestar Galactica, Fantastic Four, etc.
On June 30, 2010 I expanded into 'Touched by an Angel'. In one story called 'Darkness' Light', Monica meets one of my Characters from another work which will soon be published on Kindle, and then on the day of his passing I created a short piece called 'Andrew Retires', written in honor of the late John Dye.
I recently dug up an 'Alien Nation' story called 'F# over High C', which was first published in Sardonac and is now reprinted for the 20th Anniversary of the series. It is based upon information presented in the episode 'Eyewitness News' co-starring Angelia Bassett.
After watching enough episodes of Star Trek Enterprise to get a handle on the characters, I set off on my own series, creating a new character who would serve as the outsider’s POV to explore the relations of characters who were getting to know one another. I started during Season 1, but before I came close to finishing the series was already cancelled.
'Golden Girl': The Enterprise NX-01 encounters a refugee fleeing the planet Aura.
'A Few Words': Tia Anlor, remaining with the ship, asks Hoshi to teach her English.
'Glistni': Integrating a new crewmember into the mix isn’t as simple as one might expect.
'Small Time': When Tia suffers from an illness no one’s ever seen and which she won't discuss, can Phlox save her?
'Acquisition': The Captain bought a slave girl? When word gets out, everyone has their own opinion about what should be done about it.
'What Do I Do Now?': A surprise party is such a simple thing to plan, isn’t it? Is it ever?
'For Want of Kilyiis': Unfulfilled hopes flare in the most unexpected ways and times.
'Daasii': It’s a special holiday. What could possibly go wrong? And why must one of the crew die for it?
'Noblesse Oblige': A First Contact mission goes awry when Archer must decide which is more important, following orders or his conscience.
'Roses and Thorny': Tia’s Away Mission takes a startling and revealing turn.
'Time and Again': Someone is killing the crew, but why are only certain people targeted? Can they be saved in time?
'House of Cards': When you build your life on lies, it eventually falls apart.
'Starlight Maiden': The Enterprise encounters colonists from Bravina. Can peace be negotiated?
'Armageddon': When Trip sees the Enterprise destroyed and all his friends killed, is it too late?
'Luuru': A rite of passage into adulthood produces some startling consequences.
'Cross and Crown': Starfleet has a new program and the Enterprise takes on a new crewmember. But why does Malcolm react so strangely to her?
'Face in the Dark Mirror': A prequel to ‘In A Mirror Darkly’. The first look at the Terran Empire, starting with my own interpretation and ending with how situations were at the beginning of I.A.M.D. (See Empress Sato for the rest of the story.)
'Time Stream': Can you fix your past without breaking your future?
'Treaty Violation': First Contact with the Capellans produces some truly unexpected complications.
'Humiliatum': Who is posting humiliating pictures of the crew, and why? And can Archer and the rest of the crew stop it?
'Clara': Rev. Patricia McCabe seeks enlightenment and resolution from a most unique source.
'Life Goes On': Elizabeth Cutler’s life changes dramatically when Phlox makes a most disturbing discovery.
'Sufferance': A research trip turns into a First Contact of the worst possible kind.
'Court Martial of Hoshi Sato': For her behavior in Sufferance, Hoshi is brought up on charges and may lose her commission.
'Empress Sato': At the end of ‘In A Mirror Darkly’, Imperial Lt. Sato had removed her rival and proclaimed herself Empress. This story follows the establishment and cementing of her power.
'Extreme Prejudice': A simple survey mission results in death and destruction. Will anyone survive?
'Fractured': The aftermath of E.P. Things only get worse as death spreads and dangers increase.
And just for fun:
'Pulsar': What if ‘Star Trek Enterprise’ were a television show instead of reality? Follows ‘Cross and Crown'.
I’m proud to have created another new category. In addition to creating the SCIS, just after the first major film I was the first one to introduce ‘The Fantastic Four’ to Fanfiction.Net.
'The Fantastic Ben Grimm' tells the story of the team’s very first days, just after the end of the first movie. They’re still learning how to use their powers, but Ben discovers new powers – and a new body – are the easy part.
I took a little detour into Battlestar Galactica, Season One. In 'Stripped to the Core', Boomer and the Chief have just been caught doing what they shouldn’t, not because they’re adults but because they’re officers. Boomer goes to Adama to ask him to reconsider his decision on their penalty.
I'm presently working on an NCIS series, a chapter posted every Saturday. If you don't know NCIS or have never seen the series, you will still be able to follow the mysteries, but it will help to go to http:///primetime/ncis/
NCIS
My NCIS stories were intended to take place sometime in the 4th and 5th seasons of the series, so Jennifer Shepherd is the Director and Michelle (Lee) Palmer is an active member of the team. Michelle had been returned to 'Active' status in 'Wiccan Affair' and remained with the team. Oh, and now she's married. Since it takes far longer to write my series than the television show needs, they are already on Season 13 so I had to play a little loose with the calendar, especially if I were to reference Los Angeles and New Orleans, the casts and situations of which being too good to ignore.
I've posted a short aside to my NCIS series, this one called 'Transition'. It examines the series for another point of view and I think you'll enjoy it. It's a look at the CBS and my series side by side. What would happen if what we see on the screen and what you read in my series are equally real and happening side-by-side in 2010?
I have a few Adult stories I am slowly reposting. I had taken them down some time ago but now I'm returning them. They all follow the theme "...And Your Favorite", where you choose the unidentified partner to suit your own preferences. 'Abby's AMazeing Prize': Abby Sciuto starts a weekend she'll never forget. Your Favorite takes her on a ride to a special site. 'Abby's Night Out': Abby breaks out of her Lab for a night of surprises.
You can't write NCIS Fiction without knowing Forensics and Autopsies. One of the very best sources for both is the Medical Examiner Doctor Douglas P. Lyle. His website is . He consults for the best Crime shows. Have a peek and you'll see what I mean.
My 'Affair' stories are an Homage to David McCallum.
Season 1 contains:
'Superheroine Affair': Why was Batgirl murdered at a Comic Book convention, and is she only the first? What is Tim McGee's secret connection to this?
'Jurisdiction': When one of Abby Sciuto's oldest friends is assaulted, she defies Gibbs and all of NCIS to bring the guilty person to justice.
'Wiccan Affair': The murder of a witch opens a startling case, and a carefully guarded secret is revealed, changing lives forever.
'Sacramental Seal': The murder of a Marine begins one of Tim McGee's most trying cases as his personal life encroaches into NCIS, with astonishing consequences.
'Fantasy Affair': Unusual murders have an astonishing link, infringing on National Security.
'Assassin': Who is hunting Abby Sciuto? As she fights for her survival, grief mounts with the body count.
'Dark Night': Death comes in the most unexpected places, and the murderers share one thing in common: they would never kill their victims.
'Elf Lord': Over the years Gibbs and the team have referred to McGee as Elf Lord with varying degrees of affection. Now they discover some Elves, like some Leprechauns, are best left alone.
'Inner Darkness': Tim has not recovered from the torments of Elf Lord. That is the only reason the team can imagine for his odd behavior. But when he crosses from odd to irrational, what can be done to stop him before someone is hurt?
'John 8:7': NCIS' Chaplain appeals to Tim McGee for help, and the solution tests loyalties to the limit as Agents pay the ultimate price and war looms on the horizon.
'Swiss Knife': The outbreak of war changes lives as more agents die. Who is the enemy who stands one step ahead of Gibbs and his team? Can they solve the mystery before more agents are killed? Lives end and change as Season 1 ends.
Season 2 contains:
'Butterfly Affair': An astonishing woman leads the agents to a plot beyond their wildest dreams, and a central character nearly pays the ultimate price.
'Salarium': How did a Navy Lieutenant Commander die in full view of witnesses who saw nothing? Did the Petty Officer see something he should not have? Ducky meets his new Assistant.
'Nosferatu': Vampires are unreal, the product of fear and imagination. But when a vampire starts hunting in Washington, it's up to Gibbs and the team to stop him.
'Autopsy Atrocities': Through the years, Ducky has used his talents to solve the most complex cases. But what happens when his skills are the modus operandi, and clues point to one of his closest friends?
'Pieces': Some time ago the team broke up a 'Chop Shop' dealing in dismembered corpses. Is it starting over again with new perpetrators, or is the truth far worse?
'Have Yourself a Merry...': Plans for the Holidays take an unexpected twist when a missing child must be found.
'Hatred': The New Year opens with a shocking crime that sends Tim McGee on a deadly hunt. Will he go from Investigator to Executioner?
'Millennium': Years of Research and Development leads to the creation of the ultimate weapon, but who is in control?
'Accused': The death of a Marine is the first tragedy. What happens next might split the team.
Season 3 contains:
'Movie Night': Abby, Jenny and Michelle thought it was just 'Girl's Night Out'. They never expected things to go so wrong.
'Ultimatum': When a closed case reopens, death invades the bullpen.
'Zabeth': As the agents prepare for a wedding, the team must protect a victim from an innocent threat. Plus: The long awaited Wedding of Siobhan O'Mallory and Tim McGee!
'Nothing Ventured': During the McGees' Honeymoon, the unexpected death in a Navy Officer's family is complicated by his disappearance.
'Exposed': A shocking revelation, and the law the Agents have sworn to uphold becomes the worst obstacle to justice.
'Retribution': Forty witnesses say they witnessed the murder, so why does Gibbs try to prove the suspect is innocent?
'On the Wings of Demons': Abby and Sammy have been murdered. A furious manhunt, a conspiracy beyond reason, burning hatred fuels a quest for revenge.
'Let Down': Jubilee Eastergaard seems to have had everything to live for, so why did she end her life in such a spectacular manner?
'Rocky Road': One murder - two - three - four with no clues. Is this one Gibbs can't solve?
'Supervillian Affair': Tim is determined to try for a peaceful weekend at the Greater East Coast Comic Art Convention. After all, things can't go like they did last year.
Season 4 contains:
'The Ventriloquist Affair': Who is responsible for deaths throughout Maryland, Virginia and DC, leaving few clues and no motives?
'Who Knows What Evil Lurks?' When Tony DiNozzo is kidnapped, the hunt unleashes a terror that will consume one of the Agents, and Death is the price of Hatred.
'In the Hearts of Men?': An NCIS Agent is attacked, and Gibbs' team joins with another to hunt the perp.
'Sting': Jimmy and Michelle return home to a shock, but this is just the first of many.
'On the High Seas': Gibbs and his Team take a Crossover vacation when the pressures of work become too much. And this time they may get their rest. After all, what could possibly go wrong aboard the Love Boat?
'The Other Other Locked Room': A death leads to the reopening of a Cold Case even while Tim works on his 4th novel featuring the Continued Adventures of L.J. Tibbs. Guest Stars. See my Second Season's 'Accused' for background information.
'Phobos Affair': Inspired by Pauley Perrette's chilling Video 'Fear'. "The Only Fear is Fear Itself."
'The Best Revenge is Revenge': While the DC Agents struggle with the mystery of the Fear Poison, the Office of Special Projects in LA works against the LAPD to prevent Nell Jones from being imprisoned for murder.
'Life, the Universe and Everything Affair': The NCIS must not prevent a threat to the freedom of the United States, nor may their trusted agents even reveal to the Agency that it's going to happen. In the meantime, two Teams labor to solve parallel mysteries.
'The New Mark Affair': My 100th Story! The Fourth Season ends tying up cases from Seasons 1, 2, 3 & 4, and we witness the end of an Era.
Season 5 contains:
'Hit and Run': Tony DiNozzo is gone, his successor is getting acclimated as the Team investigates the accidental death of a Naval Officer - or was it an accident?
Pending: 'Best Served Cold' (Working Title.): An incident on the night of the Blessing of the Palmers' new home quickly grows into terror.
Pending: Untitled: Murder is not the opening salvo which the Los Angeles Office of Special Operations must investigate. The case began months before the horror blossomed.
Pending: 'Cave': An old foe mounts a major offensive, but will this one be too much for the Agents to counter?
Pending: 'Sanctuary': An accused conspirator seeks Sanctuary from Arrest and Prosecution, and that act sets Families, Agents and Agencies against one another.
I also have stories that do not follow the series described above. Some are one-shots, some are divergences, some are startling.
'McGee's Lesson': Siobhan O'Mallory asks Tim to teach a Self-Defense course, but who learns the real lesson?
'Three Wishes': Sarah McGee receives as astonishing delivery and learns the lesson 'Be careful what you wish for, you might get it'.
'Into the Light': The last day of NCIS' most celebrated Agent brings friends back together for a final 'goodbye'. A brief glimpse into the future.
'Transition': Michelle Palmer decides to take a short vacation to celebrate a Wiccan Festival. Nothing goes right. A look at CBS' NCIS series.

'Happy Birthday, Tim': In Season 2, while they were dating, Abby prepares to give Tim a most memorable birthday.
'Abby's AMazeing Prize': Abby and your Favorite Character go on a date she will never forget.
'On the Director's Carpet': Newly Appointed Director Jenny Shepherd and Deputy SAIC Leroy Jethro Gibbs have been butting heads since the day she took over. Now they finally decide who's on top.
'Friction Burns': In the Third Season's episode 'Boxed In', Tony notices friction burns on Ziva's knees, which she refuses to explain. This is my take.
'Princess Nell': Weeks after the events in 'Supervillain Affair', Eric Beale tries to turn a nightmare into a dream.
'Man of his Word': In 'Blood Bath', when Mikel Mawher was hunting Abby, she hid in Tim's apartment and he told her that if she opened the door again he would tie her up. She did.
'Hepacor': In the beginning, Tim and Abby had a fiery relationship that cooled in Season 2. This is a modern day story of an incident in the Forensics Lab.

'Abby's Night Out': Abby breaks out of her Lab for a night of surprises.
'Data': In NCIS:LA we see so much of the action on the street, but what happens in Operations while the Field Agents are being shot at?
'To Serve All My Days': NCIS:LA - A few days before 'The Best Revenge is Revenge', Nell Jones shocks Eric Beale when she declares herself his slave?
'Bewitched, Battered and Bedeviled': In this AU, what would life for Gibbs and the others be like if the Protestant Reformation had never occurred and if, on July 4, 1776, Congress had Rejected Virginia Colony's Proposal for Independence?
'Campfire': NCIS:LA - Eric Beale and Nell Jones only wanted to spend a fun day at the beach. How can things go so wrong? Follows 'The Best Revenge is Revenge' by 1 week.
'Hand of Prometheus': NCIS:LA (Terran Empire Mirror Universe) - Inquisitors Nell Jones and Kensi Blye of the Imperial Naval Criminal Inquisition Squadron embark on an Undercover Op. Crossover with New Orleans.
'A Hundred': This NCIS:LA story takes place very shortly after the Couples' Retreat and explores the burgeoning relationship between Nell and Eric as they take things to the Next Level and beyond. Consensual Sex and Adult Themes. Everyone with experience knows a woman is capable of multiple orgasms. For Nell's first encounter with Eric, she wants a Hundred.
I'm doing a spin-off series from NCIS, introduced in 'Into the Light', viewing the agents' futures in the late 2030's with a focus on the 'next generation': (Note: Jennifer Shepherd and Michelle Lee are still alive in this story, as established in 'ItL', before the airing of certain episodes, so they continue in my ongoing series.)
'Otherworld': A year after 'Into the Light', Su Lin Palmer, daughter of Jimmy and Michelle, opens a case that ties past and future together. Link to 'Fantasy Affair'.
'Penalties': Su Lin Palmer investigates a shocking murder that hits too close to home, and the NCIS of the late 2040s must solve the case before more people die.
Pending: 'Dhampire': A brutal mass murder, and Su Lin Palmer must stop a friend's quest for revenge.
Tony DiNozzo's / Michael Weatherly's departure: When Jennifer Shepherd was murdered by bad guys and Michelle Lee was murdered by Gibbs, both events caught me by surprise, particularly since I had written several then-upcoming stories with them, and had established in 'Into the Light' that they were alive in the late 2030's.
With DiNozzo / Weatherly I had the advantage of warning, so I have set his fate in my universe. Having realized I'd laid the groundwork for his departure several years ago, I had only to set the wheels in motion. You may rest assured that he is going to finish out my 4th Season, which means he had to stay for 4 more stories.
Why? Because not only should he finish out the Season as he did on the screen but I had written quite a bit of each of these stories and I did not intend to redo them to delete a pivotal character. Those who have followed closely the affairs (pardon the pun) in my universe already know Tony's upcoming fate, it's only time now to start him on that path
Rules:
We all know Gibbs famous Rules, #51 was established at the conclusion of the Paloma arc, but there are many gaps.
In my series, when I have a situation where a Rule can be established, I use one of the available numbers, ignoring the fact that the 40 series is supposed to be deadly. When the show establishes a number I'm already using, I move mine to the next available number.
Here, therefore, are MY 'Gibbs' Rules' to date:
17. Always piss off the Alphabet soup.
21. Never explain. Let them work it out.
25. Investigations are never easy, especially if they look easy.
26. Never let anyone touch your weapon.
28. Sometimes the spouse didn't do it.
29. Anticipate every possibility.
30. The more something seems like a coincidence, the less it is.
31. The only one who could’ve done it probably didn’t.
32. Never make excuses.
33. There are all sorts of reasons to commit a crime. They don’t have to make sense to us.
34. Never torture a prisoner physically, do it to his head.
37. Examine the pieces, assemble them, then look at the entire picture.
39. However good the plan is, the first thing someone will do is muck it up.
41. Never repeat yourself, make them remember the first time.
43. Never answer a Reporter.
45. In a murder investigation, everything is 'Need to Know'.
46. Never touch a crying woman.
47. When you're handed conveniences, they're too damned convenient.
48. Get the job done. Sweat the paperwork later.
49. When interrogating a prisoner, never do what he expects.
50. Never admit you're scared.
52. Never bring a Guest on an Interrogation.
53. The same weakness that makes a suspect the one who'll break first is why he won't know anything important.
54. Never waste time.
56. Never think a problem into a worse one.
57. If you have to break someone else's rules, break them.
63. Complicit until Proven Innocent.
71. Never guide a witness.
72. An innocent person can't pale at will.
I also have sets for other characters, such as Michelle (Lee) Palmer:
1 Never betray the people who trust you.
2 If you want to make a problem vanish, call someone over to look at it.
3 When it looks like you'll have an easy day, pack a toothbrush.
4 When you're breaking in, look like you own the place.
5 Truth is stranger than the best lie.
6 The popular theory is bullshit.
7 The only ones who believe in coincidence are the ones who haven’t been paying attention.
8 No matter how good the plan is, the first person to come along will muck it up.
9 It's better to prod than plod.
10 Never let anyone touch your Athame.
11 When you want to throw your weight, use Gibbs as the ventriloquist.
I've also looked into the next dimension, and it's a dark place. Postulated in Star Trek, I've seen what the Mirror Universe's INCIS is like.
'INCIS': In Star Trek's Mirror Universe, the Empire is supported by the Imperial Navy Criminal Inquisition Squadron. An unsettling look into lives that might have been.
'Shepherd of the Lost': In the Mirror Universe, Inquisitors Jennifer Shepherd and Kaitlyn Todd support and protect the Empire, but betrayal and death are always present.
'Hand of Prometheus': Nell Jones and Kensi Blye go undercover to catch a spy. Crossover with NCIS:NO.
For those of you who wonder how the deaths in the televised series affect my series, I had started out writing about the unseen events in Seasons 4 & 5, but television is faster so CBS is up to Season 15 while I am somewhere around 6, and since then Los Angeles and New Orleans have come. I therefore had to simply throw away the calendar. If anyone doesn't not care for the fact that I have current events in, remember that this is an AU.
I had 5 stories of my Season 2 already written when Jennifer Shepherd was murdered off the screen. She appears in all of them and everything since. I decided to continue my own series. Since I already established long ago - in 'Into the Light' - that Michelle Palmer and Jennifer Shepherd both survived into the 2040's (when I was writing in the earliest 2000s it seemed a long time ago, but they're actually catching up. I was certainly not going to change my series. The only one dead in my series is Kate Todd - unless you count my Mirror Universe episodes, of course.
As I write and post a chapter per week, of course I fell behind the televised series long ago - 10 years ago to be precise. My 40 Mysteries just cannot keep up with CBS' 300. Thus I have long ago stopped being a slave to the calendar, so even though my series is now depicting stories that take place three years after I began, I am guided by the events of the televised series, so time gets a little fluid. Therefore NCIS:LA and NCIS:NO exist and the series are set in real, though compressed time.
Therefore, situations like Jimmy being a Doctor I actually predicted long before Season 14 though he is still married to Michelle, who is currently (since 2016 of actual writing) pregnant, and we meet her daughter in 'Life, the Universe and Everything'. However, in 'Transition' Michelle transitions to the CBS universe where Breena is an item.
BTW, Michelle's a Witch, though not in the "Bewitched" or "Charmed" sense, it is real magic and a constant source of distress for Jimmy. She revealed her Wiccan faith in 'The Wiccan Affair'.
My NCIS mysteries are each independent stories but with backstories that unite them. I like taking the characters and trying to expand upon them, giving them more to do. People like Jimmy and Michelle provide great opportunities, since they are basically underdeveloped outside of their environments. Furthermore, there is a wealth of information only hinted at in Tim McGee's past, leaving plenty of room for speculation. I try to fill in the gaps to make them real people with real problems and feelings.
Gibbs and his team are not the only Major Case Response Teams in Washington. I have introduced some of their counterparts in Season 1, and you will meet more. NCIS being a 24 hour a day operation, there are 12 teams, 4 on each of the three shifts.
