Ode to the Glory of War:

Eternal days of nauseating boredom punctuated by moments of intense terror.

About the Author:

I lead an enduring existence, tracked by lots of twisting roads; at times punctuated by profound grief, but always tempered by the love and grace of the God who sustains it. In half the span of a normal mortal life; I’ve survived alcoholism, incest and war. My greatest earthly hero is a seventeen year old autistic boy who also has epilepsy; but he’s not just any one - he’s my son.

On Easter of 2010 we were in a head-on collision. I’ve always said that if someone’s redemption comes out of this car accident; it’s worth a couple of broken bones. That’s easy to say though when you don’t know what the total cost is! I still can’t walk independent of a pair of crutches and maybe I never will. Despite all this, I’m ever reminded that so much more happened on Easter Sunday than an MVA; a man named Jesus rose from the dead.

"God when you choose to leave mountains unmoveable. Oh give me the strength to be able to sing - It is well with my soul."

On Sunday March 5, 2017; the police found the body of my estranged husband and son's father in his apartment. He'd committed suicide two days earlier.

"I know Your able and I know You can save through the fire with Your mighty hand; but even if You don't - My hope is You alone. I know the sorrow and I know the hurt would all go away if You just say the word; but even if You don't, my hope is You alone." (MercyMe)

My writing:

Therefore, I think and ponder and write stories of redemption in the science fiction setting. I like space travel, time travel, aliens, clone soldiers and Jesus Christ. Combine a couple of those elements together and you can come up with some interesting Christian sci-fi stories!

So for all of you who look at this profile; thus is all you may have ever wanted (or never wanted) to know about "The Righterzpen".

My Favorite Original Tid bits:

"Weapons can bring down men; Ideas can bring down empires."

Jangette Diaries:

"Loyal to the Republic of the God who commands me to love what is good and despise what is evil!"

"I guess my dreams of fame and fortune are just gonna have to wait till after I'm dead."

"Oh for the usefulness of things I was never meant to learn!"

"All life has value in the eyes of God because ultimately He is the giver of it; not a science test tube."

"Life is not as cheap as we've all been lead to believe."

"The truth being told though - they are no longer in control of this game."

Star Trek History According to Nakam:

There were the Klingons; who I guess had later joined the Federation? But they ended up going extinct from being overrun by some subservient species. I guess rumor has it that the Klingon home world suffocated under 25 kilometers of... Tribbles.

The Ferengi Empire on the other hand; were invaded by the Borg. Assimilating the Ferengi ended up turning the Borg into the worst peddlers of space junk in the Alpha quadrant. Rumor has it the Borg met their doom in the vault of eternal destitution because they were no longer turning a profit.

The Cardassians now? Hum, what happened to them after the war with the Dominion ended? Something about a retro virus left by the Klingon invasion? It had infected the sea life on Cardassia and after several hundred years, just morphed into a plague that wiped out most of the Cardassians because of their custom of drinking (now tainted) fish juice every morning. Oh man, what a way to go! Something sounds fishy!

Than there were the Vulcans? What ever happened to them? I guess no-one really knows; but it just wasn’t logical!

In the Service of the Greatest King:

"How to avoid thus? The colonists be bitter and the king be stubborn... and the soldiers? We pray our consecration unto His Grander Army."

Triune Committee Meeting:

"Hugs, hugs, hugs all around."

End Times Bible Study:

"The only sound to be heard will be the saints cheers for God sparing us from humanity's finest hour of collective stupidity."

Ask Me:

If self sacrificial love was the common lot of all humanity; congress wouldn't give out metals for it.

"... by all Thy heavenly host adored, by all Thy... obnoxious ... church below."

"Is a dream." Jesus stated rather matter of factly. "You not dead; and I still talk to you. What is more you could ask for in this life?" He shrugged with a smile.
