I love this story! I’m playing FFXV again and this was the first fic I wanted to read getting back in! I started writing my own, Requiem For Pitioss, But I got about three chapters in before I got stuck. But I’ve got all sorts of new ideas now that I’m coming back into it.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. It’s 5AM and dammit I don’t regret staying up after finding this.

The fact you don't get too descriptive is actually what gives your love scenes such magic. Seriously if I have to read certain euphemisms for anatomy one more time (by other other authors I mean) I may start setting fires. This chapter was just so damn adorable and well written. You, m'dear, are quite talented.

Also, Gladio's "you finally got some" comment... Ha ha, he would!

I really wish this is what had happened in the game! Even if they both died in the end, it would have been so powerful and moving to see them coming together to fight the Starscourge and Ardyn, juxtaposed against moments they try to steal for their own happiness. Now that would have been a power and touching dynamic. Imagine them being on the same page about going on a mission like this, where they know they won't have a happy ending, but at least they're together...

I loved their interactions in chapter 2 as well, the gentle way they came together. And then got more confident ;) I love reading your fics, but the one downside is that it makes the events in the game feel even more bare cause this just fits so well! It really feels like it should have happened. Thank you for filling in the blanks :)

I had a bad day yesterday, so I decided not to read it, but wait for today. Thinking of the fact that I wanted to cry so badly yesterday, but just couldn't, I think I should have read it. It might have helped, because I want to cry now too.

I loved the letter, I loved it that Noctis got some closure, that Regis died knowing his son will know all this things he wanted to tell him. It was so wrong how things happened in the game. And it felt so right, how things happened here in this story. Noctis having the chance and the time to grieve and to cry, not being pushed by the world to act now and grief basically never, but also not alone but in the arms of Luna.
In the game it always felt like Luna was the only thing that held Noctis up. The hope that she was alive, that he would be able to see her, to finally save her, like he always wanted to. He had lost so much, but she was still their, always close, always supporting him and withing reach. It always felt like that she kept him going. And when she died... just like in this nightmare that part of the omen-trailer had turned into in the game, had fallen in a deep dark hole, unable to stop himself from grieving and crying anymore.

However, I now you wanted the end to be open, but the way Noctis and Luna are, I can't help but be sure they would just rush to fulfill their destiny. I can see that Luna might be unable to keep her promise, ending up dead despite Noctis efforts to keep her alive as long as possible. And that makes it even sadder. But it also comforts me, that they can spend time together until then. They won't die without ever having the chance to be together. And whenever they leave this world, we know that they will be reunited in death, because they were always meant to be.

I go and cry now.

Noct and Luna seemed pretty shy in the game, they are so bold in this one! It was a nice change, though. Needed it to happen.

well this was nice I don't think Luna was actually the first Oracle queen (by birth or marriage) since one of the statues from the Old Wall and one of the Ghosts of the kings did wield a trident something that always wondered about was if there family blood had mixed earlier anyway nice little three-shot a good way of giving closure though I was trying not to laugh when the others were banging on the door I can only imagine what Noctis thoughts were
