I just discovered this and I am hooked. I’m sad to see I hasn’t been updated in almost years years. The hope your original fiction writing career is going well. I would love it if you returned to this s story but if time does not permit or your muse do this particular work is being uncooperative, I understand. Good Work. Interesting premise for a story. What I don't see is why the Alliance wants to stay on Yavin IV? The Empire knows where the base is and as soon as they can assemble sufficient forces they will attack in overwhelming strength. One of the basic principles of running a successful guerrilla resistance is to never allow your opponent to pick the time and place to fight.

I'm thoroughly enjoying this story. Your AU is definitely one of the best I've read. Everything feels so polished and clean. The character interactions are all very well done (especially those between Luke and Mara). Heck, even the plot is original and fun.
