Author has written 8 stories for Star Wars, Misc. Books, and Aliens/Predator. If you don't like one of my stories, rearrange the letters into something you do like. I can't wipe your @$$ for you. I swear in another life I drove an AT-AT, I love Star Wars, especially anything to do with the Empire Totally agree that the Universe may be a little more productive if the people would have just wiped out the Jedi and the Sith, great suggestion, Boba Fett Yes, I realize my stories are set in the Star Wars Universe, which is owned by a mouse I just thank it for letting me play in it. Love reading any stories about Mando's and The Empire My other literary joys are anything by Jack Whyte, Steve Berry, Harry Harrison, Terry Pratchett, Tom Clancy, Harry Turtledove or even Eric Flint's 1632 Ring of Fire series I welcome any and all reviews or comments about Tarkin's Fist or any of my stories so feel free to leave one About me: Quotes I wasn't like every other kid, you know, who dreams about being an astronaut, I was always more interested in what bark was made out of on a tree. Richard Gere's a real hero of mine. Sting. Sting would be another person who's a hero. The music he's created over the years, I don't really listen to it, but the fact that he's making it, I respect that. I care desperately about what I do. Do I know what product I'm selling? No. Do I know what I'm doing today? No. But I'm here, and I'm gonna give it my best shot. - Hansel-Zoolander "I passionately hate the idea of being with it, I think an artist has always to be out of step with his time" Life is too important to be taken seriously. --Oscar Wilde Reasons I'll never be ashamed to write fan fiction. "That anyone should spend such pains on such material was what surprised me. Certainly you know a great deal more about it than I do, for the stories have been written in a disconnected (and careless) way without referring back to what had gone before." Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, 1911, commenting on the fanfiction of the time about his character Sherlocke Holmes It is not certain when Cervantes began writing Part Two of Don Quixote, but he had probably not gotten much further than Chapter LIX by late July 1614. About September, however, a spurious Part Two, entitled Second Volume of the Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha: by the Licenciado (doctorate) Alonso Fernández de Avellaneda, of Tordesillas, was published in Tarragona by an unidentified Aragonese who was an admirer of Lope de Vega, a rival of Cervantes. In 1945, C. S. Lewis adopted certain elements from J.R.R. Tolkien's then largely unpublished legendarium (mostly Númenor, there spelt Numinor) and incorporated these into the last novel, That Hideous Strength, of his Space Trilogy. Jane Austen fanfiction first appeared around 1850, and fan stories based on the works of Arthur Conan Doyle and Lewis Carroll not much later. A Sherlock Holmes fanfiction-writing group, the Baker Street Irregulars, started in 1934 and has since had members such as Isaac Asimov and Franklin Delano Roosevelt. And even these guys were way late to the fanfiction party. Fifty years after the first complete narrative of the semi-mythical King Arthur appeared in a book called The History of the Kings of Britain in 1138, another writer, Chretien de Troyes, rewrote the story and added in his own character: Lancelot, the handsome knight who steals Arthur's love, Guinevere. He also put in a story about a random cup that he called a "grail." Thirty years after that, another guy decided it would be cooler if it was the Holy Grail. Since then, King Arthur has been interpreted by everyone from Mark Twain to C.S. Lewis, and rewrites are still going on 800 years later.--The History of Fan Fiction |
