Current Projects:
All my writing projects continue to remain on hold at this time. My health is back to its familiar state, but as with any kind of major event, I am still growing accustomed to the changes in my body. I do not yet know when I will have the time or inspiration to write fan fiction again, as I am spending my free moments with my family and completing many unfinished projects around my home.

Getting Connected:
I cannot express enough that I am always humbled and grateful for anyone who reads my work and enjoys what I have published. I always do my best to reply to each review whenever possible, and I enjoy meeting the different authors who share in similar interests. I always use each review I receive as a gauge for my writing skills to see where I can improve.
Who I am:
I am quite a busy woman who is the mother to a challenging 12-year-old son, long-term companion to a wonderful man, pet parent to one kitty, full-time office worker, and part-time photography student. I have beaten thyroid cancer over fifteen years ago, and I have both the scars and the life-long side effects to prove it.
I have been writing since I could remember, and I admit that I was not very good at it as a child. I often found myself discouraged by writing, as my stories were a mess of fragments, run-ons, dangling prepositions, and mistakes in active and passive voice. If not for a very kind and patient teacher who mentored me over twenty-five years ago in my freshman basic skills writing class, I may have given up with writing altogether. Ms. W. encouraged my ideas first and told me that the grammar would follow. Her support made a huge difference in my life, and I began writing stories late at night in an old notebook that no longer sees the light of day. I have no idea whatever became of my writing mentor, and I always wish I had a way to thank her for seeing something in me that other writing teachers had so easily dismissed.
It's not the years, honey. It's the mileage.
- Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones in "Raiders of the Lost Ark"
Sit down and put down everything that comes into your head, and then you're a writer. But an author is one who can judge his own stuff's worth, without pity, and destroy most of it.
