Clone wars era: Bard'ika emerges

The piece covers an interesting portion of a Jedi's life, when he takes up the Mando'a lifestyle in a dangerous situation. I wished I could read further, because the one character I really enjoyed in the Clone Wars series and movie was Asohka

This is interesting... too bad you made Rex a bit of a jerk, though. I love that guy.
and how Splat got his name? Very funny. I noticed that you havent' updated for a while... are you going to finish it sometime? I'd like to see where this is going.

Oooh, awesomeness! I know it's been, like, a year since you updated (I think) but I'm reviewing anyway because I really love the story XD

I myself wrote a story once where Jusik met Ahsoka and Anakin, although I never submitted it to fanfiction... I didn't think anyone else had had the same idea, but I was really happy when I found this story ; Plus it's the first story that I've read on FF which has Jusik in it! YAY!

Um, yes, really great stuff... everyone's in character, and Vevut Squad was really likable. Especially Splat. Based on your reviews, everyone seems to like Splat XD It was cool how Rex and the squad didn't get along, either. And sleepy Jusik was adorable

Really loving this story, especially the RC banter. It's funny how Anakin had to leave on 'business'. What a jerk, being able to just do that whenever he wants. Some role model he is. I hope that Bardan is able to teach Ahsoka a lot. She's such a great character.

Poor Bardan never got his nap! I love the tension between all of the characters as they're waiting in the cell. It's a great example of all of their conflicting personalities. I love how Rex is so to the books and tries to call Vevut out on their Warcrawler. He is just no fun! (Although that's not what the slashers say, eyoh).

That was kind of a close call with the sun there!

The little showdown with Anakin and Bardan was great. It makes me wonder how often Anakin really does skip out for his other "business." Ahsoka's bull-headed behavior is also so very typical and endearing, and I love how she pals around with the commandos in the end!

This was a good, sort of "low-key" chapter in the midst of all the action. :D Can't wait to see how Bardan, Vevut, and Ahsoka finish the mission!

Aw...Bardan's such a softie and sweetie. :-)

You make me really enjoy his character. I found him to be quite intriguing in the Republic Commando novels, but you just keep bringing those hidden layers to the surface.

I am quite curious now for more of this tale. I'm not sure who has their hands more full - Ahsoka, Bardan, or Vevut!

I have to tell you that you made a great race with the Gasarrians. I don't like them very much! ;-)

I'm endlessly amused by the squad's banter. You'd think snarky commandos would get old after a while, but it never, ever does. It's always amusing and really keeps the reader on his/her toes.

Jusik's sleepiness in the story is cute. I love that Ahsoka kind of gets the better of him with that turret-it's another example of how she's almost trying too hard!

I love Ahsoka! She called Jusik dumb. Great improvisation. ;) She's very great in this story with the way she's sad about those troopers, and still a little unsure of how to handle herself on the mission. And, as a standard default, she's a hoss in battle.

Perfect ending! Belligerent to the end. Oh, those commandos. :)

As I read this, it was something I could imagine right out of a Clone Wars episode, but with the Rep Com novels' touch.

Shame on those two nameless Clones. I'll mourn for them.

Loved the chapter, and I really can't wait for the next one. I think Dec is my favorite member of Vevut Squad; anyone who tackles Anakin for whatever reason is awesome in my book.

OH HOW I AM LOVING THIS FIC, THE INTERACTIONS BETWEEN THEM ARE AMAZING... WHY AM I THINKING THAT BARDAN/AHSOKA IS GOING TO BE ONE OF MY OTP'S LOL SIGH

Quite an interesting meeting between the style of the Republic Commando books and the cartoon series.

There's a bit of tension amongst them all, and I have to admit that I wasn't entirely expecting to see that the Mando ways are not so easily accepted by others...especially since we know that some Mandalorians had turned Sep. I was always so caught up in the RC novels that I had the impression that nearly all clones were taught some degree of the Mando ways. I'm enjoying this different take on it, and overall the tension is fun and has already shown some humorous results.

I certainly will be following this story as well.

Well, this is certainly quite a treat. Vevut Squad, Bardan, and a load of osik! LOL.

I loved how Splat got his name. Clever on that! Your writing actually made me giggle a bit. Vevut Squad seems to be a likable bunch, and I look forward to reading about their exploits.

It will be fun to see Bardan in a "Clone Wars" role as opposed to the Post-Order 66 that I've been following in your "Chronicles" series.

I'm off to Chapter 2 before I decide I'm too tired and need sleep.

I'm really hating myself for ignoring this story when my instincts told me not to- now I'm glad I decided to give it a chance the second time I stumbled on it. :D

I never quite understood Mandalorian jargon until I read Toft's fanfic, and now you as well are really getting me into them!

This story is great so far- and I applaud you for coming up with this new species- very original!

I knew nothing about Jusik during the Clone Wars so whatever impression you're giving me now is awesome!

Anakin and Ahsoka are on the spot so far, I'm a big fan of their relationship so I loved that last teaser! XD

Apparantly humor is a big thing among RC's too, something Toft focued on with her commandos as well...I really ought to read the series. :P

So far I'm really enjoying what you've done with this story, I can't wait to see how things go when Ahsoka goes face to face with these insectoids. :)
