Updates:

.8.23.16. I know I always say this, but RL has been nuts (moving states for a new job will do that). I've had very little motivation to do anything in my down time except read and occasionally watch an episode of a show. I've got a couple of oneshot ideas bouncing around in my head, and will accept prompts for others. After the Fact is going to get a complete overhaul, but will eventually happen, so sorry if you're waiting on that one. The main thing I've been working on lately is a random Merlin ficlit, but I have no clue when I'll get it to the point of being publishable.

About Me:

I'm a Christian. This does not mean that I will try to force my beliefs on anyone, but it does mean that I will write from a Christian viewpoint. The only time I will write about a homosexual relationship is if it is canon on the show (like Diana/Christie on WC). Depending on the rest of the story and on whether you can make me feel that it is in character in your universe, I may or may not read something with a slash relationship in it. The main thing with me is that the relationships have to be key to the characters, not just there for the sake of it. I also won't read any explicit scenes; I'm still willing to read fics containing them so long as there's fair warning, I can bypass that part, and the rest of the story is good. If you would like to talk to me about my beliefs feel free to send me a PM.

Most of the shows that I watch are because of either my brother or my roommate. If it's a cop show or a cartoon then either my brother made me start watching it or I saw an ad for it when watching something else that my brother made me watch. If it's on the BBC, it's my roommate's fault, but I wouldn't change a thing.

If I favorite your story, it means that it gave me a new perspective on something, had a totally new or very well-written idea, and/or I plan on rereading it again multiple times and want to make sure I can find it again. If I both favorite your story and write you a review it means that I will probably reread it every couple of months from now on. I typically read fanfiction on my phone during short breaks between doing other stuff, so reviewing is harder than just clicking the "add to favorites" button. Suffice it to say, if I have not only read all the way through your story but also added it to my favorites, it means you did a great job and I would say so in a review if I wrote one ;)

Favorite Song: Depends on my mood. Mostly pop and country. I also love soundtracks from Disney movies and Broadway musicals. Some jazz/blues style, as long as it's got a good beat for swing dancing ;)

Ships: Pretty much anything canon, depending on what point in the series it is. If it's not canon, I promise I won't automatically hate it; just make sure you show me why it's different. In Merlin, Arthur/Gwen (changing only if an AU story), Merlin/Freya, occasional Mergana (if written well and it makes sense), and in a surprising turn of events thanks to the fic Holly Leaves by CaptainOzone, Merlin/Mithian. In Sherlock the only ship I really care about is Sherlock/Molly... the poor girl is really rather awesome. Ditto on Olicity in Arrow.

Anyone reading this and waiting for an update on After the Fact, I am planning on eventually finishing it, but will be doing a complete overhaul in the process and starting over from scratch, so it may be a while. My current life and finding time/motivation to write multichapter fics are not a great combo.
