I don't know who I feel worse for, Merlin or Arthur. Merlin because he'll never see if Arthur and Gwen have children and when Arthur repeals the ban on magic. Arthur because he's just lost his best friend and brother.

I saved the story to reread again later, and I can't help but think that something so sad shouldn't be on a Favorite List. Maybe a list called the Stories-That-Break-My-Heart-But-I-Love-Anyway List.

Merlin never failed his destiney, he just delayed it that's all.
