| llLethell chapter 1 . 7/30/2013 I knew it, you've been holding out on us. That was great! You got the imagery and the suspense down perfectly, slipping in the bits from the past was great. And the bromance was everything I wanted! The idea with the tree was really good, very original which is pretty hard to do. Now I want more :) The only things I caught were in the beginning, when you say, 'the following week of following leads' and 'To a crumbling fort with four crumbling watch towers'. Using following and crumbling twice just seems a bit repetitive to me. And when Gwaine kills the guard and Elyan scolds him for it, you should separate their lines of dialogue. But those are easy mistakes to make. If this is your first story and you can tell a story like this, I really can't wait to see what you come up with later. You write really well, I was jealous of the way you described things and they way I was just hooked. Please write more, you are a really great author! |
