  Guest chapter 1 . 6/9 I was confused at the start. I started getting a bad feeling at the bit about will and not knowing anyone. That feeling grew the more I read. Then there was the letter and I was all but bawling at the end. This was amazing and so gut wrenchingly well written that it made me feel actual emotion. |

| BreathingMagic chapter 1 . 3/23/2015 Gaah... Well thanks for ripping my heart out! I think the word "bittersweet" was never so perfectly fitting to describe something as it is for this story, or rather for what happened to Merlin in it and how the others made do with it. The ending though was simply heartbreaking. Ouch. At least let Arthur know that Merlin remembers! And now Merlin is left with the memory of a world that was his, a world that at this point, has died in the form of his family of friends. I never knew that so short a story could be so emotionally challenging and perfect. |
