Hahah well drunken Merlin was entertaining! ove Arthur and Merlin ngst then bromance yayyy. Love how you portray Gwaine, he's one of my fav characters ever (the gwaine of series 3 and 4, I mean... in 5 he became too much of an idiot/clown-figure, while he's such a good friend to merlin and he's loyal and funny and not supposed to set his socks on fire or eat a freakin APPLE at a dangerous place aaahhhrgh. Thanks for writingggg! :D:D

N'aawwhhhh I have read thousands of these kind of stories but I still enjoy them! Ahhh. I really don't know how arthur didn't decide to kill Edgar before he brought Merlin back to life but it was a good thing to do in the end otherwise Merlin would still be dead! (It made me wonder though, how long after someone has died you would be able to bring him back to life in exchange of another? It really must have a limit, otherwise you would go on exchanging life after lif hahah. Anyway, lovely story!

Loved this one! Gwaine had the right to be mad at Arthur seriously, beating Merlin like that! Unforgivable really. I wouldn't have forgiven him that easily. Good that he has realised Agravaine always gives the wrong advice though, very nice. Awesome story! :)

I wasn't sure I was going to like this story as much as AMoTS, but you've managed to surprise me. Your writing is as brilliant as usual. Keep up the good work!

It wasn't awful at all, I really liked it, it was very in tune with their characters and very sweet!

I really loved this and for me, the characterisation was really pretty much spot on! There was that one bit where you described Merlin's smile as having subtly sadness and unwavering devotion and it was so perfect when I pictured it in my head:) I think merlin really is a very forgiving person - not weak as in letting people walk all over him, but definitely not one to hold a grudge against Arthur for something he truly regrets. I also loved how gwaine was fierce and fiery, but he also had a deep seated sense of right and wrong. An incredibly moving piece!

Also, I don't know if you've already realised, but I think you were a bit confused between venerable (as in respectable) and vulnerable (easily harmed). Just a small thing I thought you might like to know about, though it doesn't detract from the story:)
