![]() Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter. You can support me on if you wish at https:// www . . com / Brigade?ty=h (No obligation, of course. But I'm trying to pay my way through college and I'd love you forever. Why can't the US learn from all the cool countries and make education free?) I have a Twitter for my stories (at)BrigadeEitD. There, you can read about my frustrations with a certain chapter, you can read as I ramble on, and I'll post a few teasers and such to make the former worth it. Hello! My name is Alex, but I write under the name Brigade. I'm 22 years old, I am a male, and I started off as a reader on this site for several years before trying my hand at writing. My first story, Enveloped in the Darkness, is finally finished. It was a really awesome experience writing it and hopefully a few of you have enjoyed it. If you're someone who's decided to check my profile before reading it...well, I can't blame you. There's only so much you can learn from a story summary, after all. The basic plot of the story without spoiling anything for you is simply this: Harry was taken to an orphanage instead of his aunt and uncle's when he was a Dark Lord-killing toddler. The orphanage was not good to him at all and he goes into Hogwarts with a...darker disposition. Beyond that, however, he's a magical prodigy - and being that type of a prodigy draws interest. Voldemort is not as gone as everyone would like to think. Embraced by the Darkness is the sequel. In EbtD, Harry sees a vision from the future in an artifact he stole from Borgin and Burkes. Can he overcome a potential betrayal by Voldemort while also protecting his friends? As for The Door of Number Twelve...I REALLY like that story. A really short description: The Room of Requirement sends a teenage Sirius Black into the future to meet a 25 year-old Head Auror Harry Potter. Luckily, the door of Number Twelve leads back to Sirius' own time...and that leads to a whole new adventure for Harry. Anyway, if you have any questions, feel free to ask! Don't be shy. Cheers, folks. |
