i know you said that it's not popular but i am literally begging you for the final pairing to be with lezander only because hes literally the most decent and just my favourite character! please!

Came across Twist of Fate and Vindico Atrum and sat a week straight this quarantine, to read them completely. They were such a delight to read, indeed some of the best ever fics I've read in my life.

I'm really super super excited to see how Gavril and Malekai will fare, I for sure prefer them together haha! Although the two latest visions Orion had seemed really worrisome, I hope he gets out of those tricky situations relatively unscathed. Pertaining to the visions, it was really interesting to see how Orion's feelings about the one where he leads the Dark in battle have developed, from initially feeling something akin to fear and disgust in his image to now, in this chapter, fervent anticipation.

Soooooo, you're telling us that you will start updating come mid-2020? Wahhhhhhh I AM SO EXCITED! I swear, your writing is fabulous, your plot so intricate and I have not been this invested in a story since I was 12 (wayyy back). I found your story last summer and spend hours and hours reading. I really liked this new development with Malekai Salai and god, I can't wait for Orion's future. I was terribly sad to think your story was abandoned and your Christmas update (which I just discovered wanting to reread The Black Heir) made my day today. I'll be patient, stay safe

interesting position hermione finds herself in..best friend in some ways to orion aka vindico atrum..and in some ways the key to everything it seems like so far.

other then orion himself...calypso is my favorite character in this story by far and away...not entirely sure why, she just resonates/reverberates somehow...very eloquent mysterious and interesting...if it turned out she was a prophetess or seer or avatar of magic or the cosmos or something it almost wouldn't surprise me that much. and yet somehow she's still like a normal person too. she's an amazing friend to orion and then some...seriously she goes above and beyond the call of duty as a good friend. she always has good advice for orion it seems at all times about all situations just about. she's a very good grounding/anchoring influence. she strikes me as smart intelligent, as a safe haven, as a very nurturing kind person, as someone very defensive/protective over those she cares about/considers to be her charges...i got angry enough to want to strike/hit something a few chapters ago when i read the author's notes that apparently people were disparaging calypso in the reviews and calling her derogatory names or what-not... in some ways this story is about calypso not just orion, it wouldn't be the story it is or as great of a story without the missing element calypso provides to the story, grounding the story and humanizing orion's character somewhat.

i really dislike dumbledore and voldemort, but their narrative drives part of the story and provides a framework, and also provides a basis/distraction to allow the story to focus more on orion and his personal story and his and calypso's and others character growth/development without having to rush those stories as much.

i really empathize with the dark and that culture for some reason and i really want there to be a solution somehow so they don't die out/lose their culture.

i really can't stand the death eaters and their propensity to torture for no reason/for entertainment

yet somehow i can't help but like bellatrix and want her to be saved/rescued from her blindness/blind faith in voldemort somehow and from her crazed state where she enjoys torturing people for fun.

i don't like how the dark seems to want people like voldemort as leaders where they seem to think if the leader isn't a torturing despot insane mad person they aren't fit to lead? seriously wtf.

i dislike how voldemort seems to effect orion and be changing orion and making orion lose his morals and values and scruples far more then any moderating effect orion ever manages to have over voldemort.

to my utter shock this story shows that voldemort has huge potential to help the world if he'd only realize it, and you can kind of see why orion wants to save him.

i keep hoping for a reconciliation of black house so they end up on the same side.

also even though supposedly in the book the three sisters were igraine vivian and someone named morgause, i kept wondering if that described illustration was meant to refer to bellatrix, andromeda, and narcissa...and what that might portend for the story going forward and what powers they have and what powers they could exhibit/come into in the near future in the story, and if they may end up playing a crucial role in protecting key/central characters like orion draco and calypso potentially since its obvious the plot keeps developing faster and faster and faster then any of the involved parties/characters planned on/intended for it to develop...its so obvious in so many ways that orion isn't even nearly ready for his own plots he started with his dad or when he started at durmstrang much less the other plots he thought of later or with voldemort to be coming to fruition yet and certainly isnt ready to deal with all this past life stuff yet..

also with all this stuff about merlin...it makes me wonder if the "order of merlin" isnt just a pretty badge/pin/award but if it was a secret organization too like order of phoenix or this newly revealed illuminati organization or that alchemist organization recently revealed that dumbledore is part of..

also can't help but wonder if parts of this story are references/allegories for the 3 sisters/3 witches/3 fates/3 destinies etc., that we hear about throughout history off and on again...

the sidhe twist here at the end is amazing..i was wondering if that was where it was heading soon as i saw the description of orion's past life with the purple eyes, but still wasn't sure and didn't expect it to turn out like it did.

overall this story is just amazing and artfully combines so many things...this story goes beyond a fanfic in harry potter universe in my view, it's just a great story overall in its own right.
