Loved your take on a possible plot-line for S3. You have a very smooth writing style and I think you captured the characters perfectly.

I'm really not keen on the idea of introducting a "baby/child" into the mix so I hope the writers gone down the route you've chosen...

I haven't read many Arrow fics (more because of no time than anything else, but I do have a list of some of your recs somewhere) but this just proved that I need to remedy that. Because even if this was short, I enjoyed it a lot! And because I am me, I of course have to list the reasons why.

1) I love how you had Felicity finish Oliver's sentence. I know this may seem like a little, insignificant thing, but she reads him so well and I love how she just gets him, and your dialogue reflects that really well.

2) "he can hear the beginnings of her loud voice in her tone." HER LOUD VOICE. Bless.

3) This sentence: "Sometimes he thinks if he could bottle the feeling he gets when she looks at him that way, it would be the most potent drug he'd have on hand." God. That sentence. Sometimes I forget how much I truly love your writing.

4) The fact that she's the only one he told.

5) THE END. Those two last paragraphs. And you named the baby Caroline! Hee. But seriously, those final paragraphs. My heart.

Hmmm, this review got a little out of control. Although you're hopefully used to that from me, but basically, this is something I liked and will probably prefer to whatever actually happens with this storyline on the show. Because I'm not much of a fan of this subplot, so if it could magically go away somehow, that'd be even better.

I like this because Oliver made such a grown up decision here because it is the truth Connor does have a father and I just love that Felicity is there to support him and show him that he doesn't have to go through this alone.

Oh this is so beautiful and I am hoping that on the show we get a slightly different plot. I may be selfish but Felicity has been through so much that I hope Sandra is no longer in the she died or gave the baby up for adoption. I thought it was stupid of her to give up all claims to the Queen fortune for the small amount Moira offered her. The family were billionaires and she settled for two million.I am sure that Moria could have been convinced to give her more. In my preferred story she gave up her son to be raised in an orphanage. Though he probably would have been adopted rather quickly. So what makes more sense is that she recently died and either someone found out his father's name.
Or maybe Felicity will discover it like you suggested. That seems very likely since she is the one working behind the scenes to get the Queen fortune back. Either way I am sure that this will drive another wedge in the Olicity end plan. Also Emily B R said that Nightwing is going to enter the picture as a romantic interest for FS. That could make things very interesting. I love a jealous and pissed off OQ/Arrow. Bring on the handsome, hot, and super charming vigilantes.

Now if only the writer's went this way, but alas ...
Very nicely written. It informed Oliver about Connor without messing up the dynamics of our team and Connor is happy where he is and there's room for Oliver to get involved without destroying Connors world.
