I'm finally rewatching Merlin after all these years, and, of course, had to start reading Merlin fanfiction again. I stumbled upon this brilliant fic a little while ago, and have been eating it up. This show broke my heart. I watched that final episode on the day it aired - Christmas Day - and was depressed for months. Haha. I was "okay" with the ending... until that final scene. That did it, for me. I'm still not sure I'll be able to get through a re-watch of it without breaking my heart all over again. But this was beautiful; so meaningful, and sweet, and full of hope, amidst the sorrow... You should be proud. It made me cry. Haha. But really. I love this. A lot. I can't wait to get through even more of your stories. :) Thank you for sharing this. It's definitely a new favorite. xx
