To sum everything up, I'm a fan fiction addict who has endlessly scrolled through fanfic after fanfic to find stories worth my while. I'm obsessed with Harry Potter and Jacob Black. I love food, and talking about nonsense that holds no meaning. My names's Monique, by the way. I guess I should have started off with that short piece of information, but what can you do.

I'm really laid back, have a volatile temper (Contradicting, much?), and harbor a fetish for ketchup on everything.

Favorite Books/Book Series/TV Series/Comics

1. Harry Potter

Books 1-6 only, I never really found Deathly Hallows something to obsess over. *shrugs*

2. Twilight

In all honesty, I truly, truly hate this series. I just love the possibilities that could have happened if the series were written like some of the amazing variations I have come across on Fanfiction.net

3. The Hunger Games

Just wanted to start off by saying I'm in love with Haymitch Abernathy. I guess he's a little too old for me, but age is just a number baby. But I digress. Mockingjay was stale I'll admit, but the rest were the types of reads that would have you in the same position for hours on end until you were forced to get up and eat, or do something else to preserve your hygiene and prevent yourself from smelling like someone who hadn't showered in a fortnight.

4. Faking It (MTV Series)

UPDATE: THEY FUCKING DISCONTINUED IT!!

Recently discovered (now over, fuck my life), now my favorite series ever. And I have the hugest girl crush on Amy Raudenfeld. (And Rihanna. Off topic, I know)

5. The Mortal Instruments

Shadowhunters rule.

6. Marvel Comics

Marvel kicks DC's ass. Enough said. Teen Titans hold a special place in my heart though.

Favorite Pairings

(Harry Potter)

1. Harry/Draco or Theo/Blaise/Marcus (Don't ask me why)

Yeah so I'm discovering the world of slash and loving it. I don't have any favorite femslash pairings because I generally only read HP stories where Harry is the main character.

2. Harry/Daphne

The Gryfindor Golden Boy and Slytherin Ice Queen. It has a nice ring to it.

Or Tracey. Or femBlaise. Basically a Slytherin honey who isn't Pansy or the like.

4. Harry/Hermione

Harmony forever!

5. Harry/Tonks

Or even Narcissa or Bellatrix. Fuck an age difference.

I realized this list was going to be unnecessarily long so I'll stop by saying I love Harry with anyone who isn't Ginny (Because I can't stand the fangirling bitch, and she looks like the long lost daughter of Lily Potter. *shudders*) or Luna (I love her to death but I can't think of Harry with her as anything other than siblings)

(Twilight)

1. Jacob/Bella

I hate Bella. I mean let's face it, she's a selfish, awkward, hormonal cow who was stupid enough to choose dying over spending the rest of her undeserving life with the oh-so-sexy Jacob Black. But Jacob deserved her, and in my mind her love for the poor guy was enough, she was just too Edward-hungry to see it.

2. Jacob/Leah

Definitely on par with Jacob/Bella, I'm truly obsessed. Meyer should have pursued this pairing in Breaking Dawn instead of making Jacob imprint on the spawn.

3. Jacob/Edward

Okay so I actually hate Edward's character but I've actually recently become obsessed with the idea of them being together. I've read a few (Or at least a few by my standards. So maybe 60?) and they were such a hot couple. *fans self*

4. Jacob/Paul

Bro they are so sexy. I really wish there were more because I kind of read all of them. Like come on, there's only about five hundred written.

5. Jacob Black/ Rosalie Cullen

Or Alice Cullen. Either way the arguing was definitely sexual tension. The chemistry is real.

6. Sam/Leah

Only when he's not a douche.

1. Gale/Katniss

Everthorn is much better than Peeniss. And, bread and arrows don't mix. Common knowledge.

This will probably never occur in the actual series, but they have so much chemistry and I can't help but wonder. The sad thing is that there are literally only five stories on the Faking it Archive that actually explore the two as a pairing. Sigh.

2. Amy/Felix

My heart aches. They were so fucking cute and would have lasted if it weren't for stupid Karma. He should be included as a character for the Faking It archive, I think we'll be seeing more of him.

3. Amy/Reagan

Basically what I feel for Amy/Felix. Freaking Karma.

4. Shane/Liam

Don't judge me. It could happen.

Pairings-that-Make-Me-Want-to-Throw-Up-in-my-Mouth

1. Remus/Sirius

They're like brothers. Come on now.

2. Harry/Ginny

Or Luna. Reasons previously stated.

3. Ron/Hermione

J.K Rowling, I love you, truly I do, but you totally fucked up on this pairing. Ron is a bigoted, jealous, selfish idiot who doesn't deserve her. Plain and simple.

4. Edward/Bella

Edward is a controlling, overbearing, manipulative corpse who should have died in New Moon like he was supposed to. If anything, I would describe Edward and Bella's relationship as abusive as best.

5. Embry/Leah

Their relationship (at least in fan fiction) is unappealing to me. I feel like Leah should be paired with someone who matches her in strength (mentally), and is an all around badass. I mean come on, in stories Embry is usually portrayed either as a huge softie or a twin Jacob.

6. Embry/Bella

God no, if not Jacob, she doesn't deserve anybody. And the whole betray-my-bestie-by-getting-with-the-love-of-his-life isn't really my type of read.

7. Jacob/Renameme Cullen

Meyer had pantydropping Jacob Black imprint on a half-demon baby with the worst possible name a child could ever be christened (Is the sarcasm layered too thick?) with. And imprinting sucks. Especially when the action is done on an infant.

8. Gale/Prim

Yes, this is a thing, and yes, I am disgusted.

9. Katniss/Peeta

I'm not really on board with the idea that you can fall in love with someone you have no true interaction with. And Peeta is annoying. He reminds me of a lost puppy who is just waiting for someone to save him from the nightmare of dying alone (I love puppies, so don't take that out of context). All I'm saying is that I feel like Collins was spending too much time making readers feel sympathy for Peeta than actually making him a likable character. Peeniss is just an unrealistic pairing in general.

10. Amy/Karma

UPDATE: KARMA IS NOT AS MUCH OF A BITCH A SHE WAS LAST SEASON. I'M NOT SURE ABOUT EVERYTHING YET SO I'M STILL KEEPING THE BOTTOM PORTION.

I feel that this is where Faking It will lead to and I hate it. All Karma does it take advantage of Amy and obsess over herself and Liam's dick. But what can i say, Karma's a bitch. *Strikes cymbal*

However, I can read Amy/Karma stories as long as Karma is being dragged through the process. A more tolerable Karma, or a jealous one, is always nice too.

Fanfiction Dislikes

1. Fluff. And I mean the quoting Shakespeare and buying flowers and chocolates and making declarations of endless love kind. All the mushiness is bile-inducing. Some are quite entertaining though.

2. Anti-Jacob Black. Even the lightest of bashing. How could you hate on a beautiful soul like that?

3. Hiatus. It's practically the equivalent of abandonment. All the stories that were on hiatus five years ago are still on hiatus to this day. I check frequently.

4. Abandonment. Self-explanatory. The story might as well be deleted to save readers from heartbreak at its new unwelcomed status.

5. Soul bonds. They're annoying and automatically make me want to stop reading, no mater how well-written.

6. Harry just so happening to be the heir to every fucking well-known family in existence. Unrealistic.

7. Love triangles. Annoying. We do not need a repeat of Twilight.

8. Albus-I'll-kill-puppies-and-poison-babies-for-the-Greater-Good-Dumbledore. I love some Dumbledore bashing, and manipulative Albus is always a good read, but some others overdue it.

I really, really want to start writing my own stories. I used to, but that was years ago (Two, actually). I have a lot of inspiration at the moment, and great ideas. But, I don't know if they can ever amount to anything special. And, Lord, I do not want to be one of those authors who begin a story and then abandon it once they lose interest, which is very, very frustrating. Maybe, in the future, or when I finish school. We'll see.
