![]() Author has written 53 stories for Harry Potter, Xiaolin Showdown, Little Women, Naruto, Jane and the Dragon, Gilmore Girls, Sonny with a Chance, Shakespeare, NCIS, Supernatural, Fringe, Mentalist, Glee, Covert Affairs, Bones, Doctor Who, How I Met Your Mother, Veronica Mars, and Teen Wolf. Twenty, an ENFP, and self-proclaimed highly sensitive person. Lover cookie dough, yellow m&m's, polka dots, and high-heeled shoes. Enjoys reading, writing, and multiple viewings of Amélie. An avid collector of quotes. Like this one: "What a horrible candle-snuffing word. That's like saying, 'He can't climb that mountain, he's just a man', or 'That's not a diamond, it's just a rock.' Just." And...this one: "There's not much difference between music and magic." - Joseph Gordon-Levitt And this one! "What do I do? I get up, catch a bus, go to work, come back home, eat chips, and go to bed? Is that it?" - Rose Tyler, Doctor Who I love, love, love fantasy, which, of course, was sparked by a young love for Harry Potter, but I actually tend to write for tv shows more than other mediums. My favorites tend to be NCIS, Bones, Fringe, and Doctor Who (which I have quite recently fallen in love with). Feel free to explore my writing, though I wouldn't venture to the bottom, as it's from my early writing days and not always all that good. On my writing: I readily admit to having writer's ADD, which is why I tend to stick to one shots. I will get an idea and start writing and love it, but after about a week or so, my mind drifts elsewhere and I start in on a new idea. It's frustrating, but it makes for pretty good one-shots, I think. Also, music really influences my writing (and, really, my entire life), so lots of my titles tend to come from music. Because I'm really a romantic at heart, here's some couples I adore: RonHermione and LilyJames (Harry Potter), Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy (Pride and Prejudice), DoctorRose (Doctor Who), BonesBooth (Bones), TonyZiva (NCIS), TedRobin, RobinBarney, and MarshallLily (How I Met Your Mother), LyraWill (His Dark Materials), MaryDickon (Secret Garden), and JoLaurie (Little Women). Sigh. Jo and Laurie were totally meant to be. Just sayin'. (Louisa May Alcott is rolling in her grave right now...) I have this wacky idea developing in my brain that in one incarnation (all I'm asking for is one, mind you!), the Doctor has to be a woman. One of my absolute favorite parts of that series is the kick-buttedness of all the women, so I'm in favor of seeing just how awesome the Doctor would be were he, you know, the opposite gender. And think of all the jokes that could be made! Of course, my friends don't agree with me, but I gave up long ago on caring about what they think. It is an idea I swear to see happen one day, even if I have to find Steven Moffat myself and force him to listen to my ideas. Warning: I recently got into Teen Wolf, and I actually might be in love. With everyone and everything in it. Other places I can be found on the internet: FictionPress: username BrightEyedHeroine deviantart: username SpringsEternalGodess |
