And Ziva really is the bigger idiot for falling for you and letting you hurt her while you go on about how you made the biggest mistake of your life with Jeanne, implying that you wouldn't mind a do-over. Sigh. And then, no talking but just sexing it up? This will not end well for Ziva methinks.

Super late to the party, I know but am currently in the process of re-reading your stories now that I've finished re-reading your established Tiva series for the 4th time. What can I say? Love your work! Anyway, my point really is that I really, really love this one. I think yours is the only story I've read that even mentions Tony bringing up Jeanne in Jet Lag, since most writers prefer to focus on who slept where and the whole 'talk about Paris' thing on Tony's bucket list.

I also love how you're not afraid to call out Tony for his crappy behaviour towards Ziva in S7. He's always been the one rejecting and/or hurting her since late S3 onwards and he's still doing it now. She deserves so much better than Rivkin, Ray and Tony imo. Nevertheless, we hold out hope that the writers will stop jerking us around soon. :)

Yeah, back to my point. You brought up Tony's mention of his ex and the faraway look and his reluctance to continue on with Ziva back in DC and tied it all up so brilliantly. I ache yet again for Ziva because he doesn't seem to see how much she cares for him and how much he continues to hurt her with his jokes and seeming non-chalance.

I don't really know what kept me from discovering this story so long, but here it is: I adore it. It's perfectly perfect, and fingers crossed for Paris like that, that's all I can say :D

I just happened upon this story right as Jetlag came on USA. It was kismit! Just like Tony and Ziva! I loved the story and this is exactly what I was imagining happened in Paris, except the way you wrote it made it even better.

Yay for Tiva! This was really good. I was hoping for more in Jetlag and now I have my daily dose of Tiva!

I loved the story. "Jet Lag" was a good T/Z-episode and now I can imagine this happening between and after those scenes... Makes it even better. :)
