One Day

I’ll find you walkin all alone,

Sirens singin and angels weepin

Cause the world’s come tumblin down.

And the earth is wailin and the choir is quakin,

Cause it looks like Armageddon’s comin, four horsemen down the road.

And you’ll be standin tall and proud, shakin and bravin the unlit sky,

As the stars rain down from heaven and the moon drops into the ocean.

But there you’ll be

And here you will see-

Me, right by your side,

Helpin you up when you need a hand,

Standin next to you as we face the crystal ball rolling beneath the sand,

Shatterin.

And I’ll help you take those pieces and fling them in the Sound, the sky catchin and cradling like a Mother’s song.

And our lanterns will burn like the sun, so bright in the darkness.

(And that’s where I’ll be

When the walls come tumblin down.)
