I can see Tony doing all this for a few reasons tbh. The reasons you showed (team being closer and not outright trying to keep things from each other while in the same room), petulance and just wanting to bug people, but also mistrust and trauma. He has severe trust issues (as do most of the team really, but still) and if people are deliberately trying to talk in a language he doesn't know it could easily come across as them trying to go behind his back and betray him. Also, he couldn't understand what his captors were talking about back in Afghanistan and it could bring back memories. I can see him spending days/weeks or whatever learning every single language he could ever need just so people can't keep things from him that way...

Really good story. There was some Polish there "pozwol mu odejsc" it means 'let him leave' I don't know if you ment it cause Google translate is horrible with english/polish. Oh but you write it wrong it's "pozwól mu odejść" if you want to change it. Love this.

Hey there, I absolutly love your story. The way you let the characters slowly warm up to each other is sooo sweet. It would be SO like Tony to watch them;) Its adorable how Clint and Tascha speak in different languages. (I am from Germany so its funny to see my own language in an English FF. :) It is "Lass ihn gehen" by the way. ;)) Keep writing so amazing FFs;)

The Hebrew was fine. And you were right about Yoddish being close enough to Getman that Steve would understand it. Yiddish is closer to German, even though it's written in Hebrew letters.
This was insightful, sweet, and funny.
