In total: Loved this series. So many brilliant little moments, all perfectly paced and spacing the known- Teal'c, Sam, Cam - with the completely imagined - SGA, Hammond.

The line about Carolyn when she was eight is genius. The opening is brilliant - so IC. Aww, poor Vala with chicken pox :)

This makes me wish they'd used Carolyn more - she intrigued me.

*rubs hands together in glee* Don't ask me why, but I love the idea of the Atlantis team scamming to get Daniel and Vala together *grin*

I like that Vala seems a little less secure in this one.

This one has such a punch - the line "Sam... Sam was lost," is actually a surprise. That Vala is beaten up so badly and she's the best off of the team... The whole thing is so very shaken and numb that it's brilliant, and it makes absolute sense that Jack would be there.

I can see the looks he's drawing her at "Sexy Dexy" now... :D

There's such a nice chemistry here - the friendship vibe is really well done, and the slightly immature way Vala curls up against him, and he tugs her hair. It's almost like they're the kids who got tired at the adult party and so curl up to sleep around each other, but in a really innocent way, if you see what I mean. Loved it.

*Sque!* You know how much I adore this pairing. They're just fantastic, and I can totally see them smirking and playing off against each other like this. Absolutely brilliant. And the little DV/SW insinuation at the end is also so good.
