I always thought that the story of Frank and Alice was the saddest

I loved this one too. Dean fixing the flower for his sister was sweet. The ending was great. Dean lucked out with his stepfather and it had to at least be some comfort to know that his biological father was not a deadbeat dad, but had loved him.

You nailed him! He never could understand the love a parent has for a child. He couldn't understand that a moths aren't would not hesitate to die just so there child could live.

I really enjoyed this. Mandy in KC has a great Fleur and Audrey story about them rescuing Muggleborns during the war. I highly recommend it.

I loved the ending! It was so Like James to think of others first, especially his friends and Lily and Harry.

This is my favorite chapter so far. I loved Tonks reason for becoming an Auror. I know you don't write much anymore, but you should consider doing a one shot of her telling Sirius why she did what she did. It would have meant a lot to him that one person always had faith in him, even if it was his baby cousin.

Her greatest moment of fear was so sad and completely understandable. Her trying to protect the kids and saving a life just before dying was perfect.

Molly is an amazing mother. I cannot stand when authors make her out to be evil or a total harpy. She is so loving. It is never fun to have to discipline your kids, but it is necessary if you want them to grow up to be moral, responsible adults.

I totally understand Lily's patrons memory. It really means something when you get praised by your older siblings. Parents always praise, but sibling praise is special

Perfect first list. I think you nailed James. He may have liked to tease, but he would always look after his family.

I could see Luna giving her children the names of her first friends.

I am getting shivers from reading #10

I love this so much, especially, especially number 10... :) We all now know that Terry ends up marrying Padma, and it's the same in my Theodore Nott fic too, so this makes me happy!

That is such a lovely note to end this on. After all the sadness, and the hardships, we are left with love and family and hope for the future.

This compilation is sometimes funny, sometimes sweet, and most often filled with a sense of melancholy. Having read many 'Ten Things About...' stories, I would like to say that yours are THE best I have EVER read. I will definitely be adding this to my recommendations.
